Malcolm Winters Stood in Front of Neil’s Shrine and Asked His Daughter to Save His Life

Malcolm Winters did not come home for a visit. He did not come home for a reunion. He came home because he is sick and the clock is ticking.

Malcolm walked into the GCAC, hugged Devon Winters and Nate Hastings, and then immediately asked to speak to Lily Winters in private. He took her to the Jazz Lounge, stood in front of Neil’s shrine, and told her the truth. He has aplastic anemia. It is serious. His doctor believes they can turn things around if he acts quickly, but he needs a bone marrow transplant. And he needs Lily to help save his life.

Lily did not hesitate. She told him she would do anything. She told him she is honored he came to her. And when she looked at that photograph of Neil on the wall, she said something that could break every heart in Genoa City: she is grateful she can do for Malcolm what she could not do for her dad.

Malcolm reminded her that Olivia had the same disease years ago and Dru saved her. He told Lily he will beat this. That there is a good chance of full remission. That when he is healthy again, they can give credit to the man on the wall. But the weight of what he is carrying was written all over his face, and Lily saw it even if she chose not to say it out loud.

When they rejoined the family, Devon could see something was wrong immediately. He asked Lily what Malcolm said. She told him to leave it alone. That is not a woman who is okay. That is a woman who just found out her father might die and is not ready to share that fear with anyone.

Malcolm Winters needs Lily to save his life and we are already emotional wrecks. Got a theory about where this is headed? Send it to [email protected] and we might publish it!

Dr. Stephanie Simmons Arrived and Immediately Chose Violence

Dr. Stephanie Simmons did not ease into Genoa City. She did not arrive quietly. She walked into Crimson Lights, found Audra Charles threatening her son, and said the words every soap fan lives for: “Who the hell do you think you are threatening my son?”

Holden Novak and Audra had been bickering about Claire Newman, about LA, about whatever secret they are keeping between them. Audra warned him not to dare come clean about what happened. Holden accused her of being afraid of rejection. It was the usual sparring match until Stephanie walked in and turned the temperature up by about forty degrees.

She grilled them both. Holden claimed they are old friends who just kid around. They swore they have never been involved. Stephanie momentarily refused to shake Audra’s hand, and when she finally relented, she called her “Audrey.” On purpose? Almost certainly. That is a power move from a woman who has clearly been executing power moves her entire life.

Once Audra left, Stephanie told Holden that woman is bad news. And then she said the words that are about to change everything: it is time he learn the truth about his father.

That sentence is a grenade with the pin already pulled. Holden Novak has been walking around Genoa City not knowing who he really is, and his mother just flew across the country to tell him.

Cane Ashby Lost Everything and Decided to Become a Villain

Cane Ashby got the call every businessman dreads. His accountant went through Arabesque’s assets and the money is gone. All of it. Nobody knows where it went. No one will touch his business. The doors are closed.

A different man would regroup. A different man would call a lawyer, file some paperwork, and figure out his next chapter. Cane Ashby is not that man anymore. Cane told his accountant to look into the other businesses in town so he can get back what belongs to him. When the accountant objected, Cane fired him and chased him out of the room.

Then he sat down with a drink and the cold eyes of a man who has decided that if the world will not give him what he wants, he will take it.

He showed up at the GCAC and Devon stood right up. Nate told him he is finished. Cane told them both he is just getting started. Devon promised to come after him if his plans involve his family. Cane made it clear he wants nothing to do with Lily. Malcolm Winters told Cane to leave his family alone. And Phyllis Summers, who has never met a tense moment she could not insert herself into, sat down next to Cane at the bar and assumed he is sticking around for revenge.

She is probably right.

Phyllis Summers Is on Top of the World

Phyllis was making deals, calling Lauren Fenmore to brag, and telling herself how good she is. Summer’s Conglomerate is crushing it and Phyllis Summers wants everyone to know. She even invited Malcolm to stop by the office, because when Phyllis is winning, she needs an audience.

The question is how long the winning lasts before Cane Ashby’s new “take what belongs to other people” philosophy lands on her doorstep.

Do you think Holden Novak is about to find out Malcolm Winters is his father? And is Cane Ashby about to become the most dangerous man in Genoa City? Sound off below because this comment section needs to be as chaotic as that GCAC dining room!
