Y&R’s Kyle & Chance Learn They Are Dumb the Hard Way

Finally, Kyle Abbott & Chance Chancellor have learned that Young & the Restless fans have been screaming at their TVs for weeks, they are dumb!! Kyle’s parents had to fake a separation to get through to him & Chance had to be told by Heather Stevens’ killer in her own home. Now soap opera fans are left wondering if Summer Newman can only commit to men who are not that smart.

If Only Kyle Abbott Had a Brain & a Soul on Y&R

The dead horse has been beaten on Young & the Restless & now even Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) knows he’s dumb. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) & Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) made their son Kyle learn the hard way & for Young & the Restless fans it could not have been more enjoyable. The only component of sadness within Kyle’s last learning experience is that he does not prioritize his son Harrison at all. In fact, how Kyle claims to prioritize his son Harrison is exactly the opposite of how he does every damn day. Kyle Abbott best be paying Mrs. Martinez a separate fee to take care of his son whenever he feels the need to leave the Abbott Estate last minute for whatever reason suits him. He seriously went to stay at the GCAC to avoid Jack & Diane. Has Kyle also forgot he lives in a mansion? It’s kind a big place with plenty of space.

Detective Chance Chancellor Stuck in a Paper Bag

Unfortunately, Detective Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) can barely find his way out of a paper bag yet solve a case on behalf of the GCPD. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has been more than adamant that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) killed her son Daniel Romalotti’s (Michael Graziadei) wife Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom). Speaking of Sharon Newman, she has been nothing less than nuts for months & has been targeting Daniel & his family in public with rage. Shouldn’t have Detective Chance Chancellor checked into Sharon’s death a bit more? He did ask Sharon just enough questions to learn that she was in Daniel & Heather’s apartment the evening Heather was killed. He didn’t, however, check where Daniel was or who he was with when Sharon was paying Heather a visit. Perhaps if Detective Chancellor had more training Phyllis’s car accident would have been avoided & she wouldn’t be at Memorial in a coma for the second time ever sponsored by Sharon.

Sharon Didn’t Kill Heather, but She Dumped Her Body

Now that Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) is out of jail with the help of Ian Ward (Ray Wise) conspiring him out of the Genoa City Motor Arms, Young & the Restless fans have learned that Sharon did not kill Heather. Heather’s murder was orchestrated by Jordan & Ian somehow that is still TBD. However, Sharon Newman did somehow carry Heather’s body down the stairs from she & Daniel’s apartment & then dumped her body in the river. Even if attorney Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) can pull of an insanity plea for Sharon, there should still be accountability for what she did do. Regardless, is Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) only attracted to not-so-smart men? Chance Chancellor is much more polite about his ignorance, but he’s politely put Summer’s family in quite a bit of hardship & disappointment
