Y&R Spoilers: Nate Hastings faces relationship trouble with Audra as Holden befriends Claire, making Kyle jealous. Meanwhile, Damian spends time with Lily while Amy battles cancer.
Nate’s Circle of Obsessions Closes in & He Gets Whiplash
As if Nate Hastings didn’t already have enough to keep track of with all he is doing for Amy Lewis, those in his immediate circle are obsessed with others in Genoa City & he’s trying to keep track. Things on Young & the Restless are becoming more intense by the day in Nate’s life. How long will this former surgeon keep it together before he spins out of control?
Holden Bellies Up & Cares Like It’s His Job
Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) is still in Genoa City after initially posing as Amy Lewis’s (Valerie Pettiford) long-lost son, Damian Kane (now played by Jermaine Rivers after Nathan Owens initiated the role). After it was revealed who Damian & Holden really were, it appeared that their time in GC would be short-lived, but before Young & the Restless fans knew it, both actors are now rolling in the credits, photos & all.
Since Holden has revealed his true identity, he doesn’t have much to do in Genoa City except belly up at the GCAC bar or downstairs at the Neil Winters Jazz Lounge. This man bellies up like it’s his job & he does it well. That’s when he’s not catching a quick bite with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), with whom he has a “complicated past” back in L.A. involving Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). Audra knows what happened. Holden knows what happened. Yet Young & the Restless fans & Nate Fans have no idea.
Whether it’s Holden & Audra getting a quick bite at the GCAC or Holden’s frequent game of 20 Questions with Nate when bellied up solo, soap opera fans can almost see Nate’s head spin. Holden is clearly up to something or someone, but that someone might not be Audra Charles after all.
Tit for tat is coming soon on Y&R as Audra now has her calculated eyes on Kyle Abbott at the request of Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) for her third opportunity to work at Newman without getting let go in record time.
Intro to Vespers by Holden Novak: 101, Claire Partakes
Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) is clearly hot & heavy with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) & stands by that this is her first time in a relationship, having sex, etc. However, even though Kyle is as fond of Claire as she is of him, he’s a busy man being Co-CEO with his dad, Smilin’ Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) at Jabot. Sometimes Kyle is behind schedule, & sometimes Holden Novak is in the right place at the right time, & that’s usually the bar at the Genoa City Athletic Club.
Convenient enough, Holden doesn’t have anything better to do right now other than to strike up conversation with not-so-random guests of the GCAC, including Miss Claire Newman. When Audra isn’t around, which isn’t often, Holden has plenty of time for Claire & Claire doesn’t mind. Kyle Abbott could not be more jealous. Miss Claire’s new favorite drink is a Vesper & she thanks her new friend Holden for the quick liquor lesson.
Holden Isn’t The Only One Holding Down the GCAC Fort
Yes, Damian Kane is spending time with his mother, Amy Lewis & they are rebuilding their relationship. However, he manages to spend any spare mealtime with Nate’s cousin Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). Holden has been fond of Lily since he laid eyes on her. Sort of like when Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway) laid eyes on Holden when she stopped by her restaurant to check in her husband, Nate’s other cousin, Devon Winters (Bryton James)… Only Abby is married & she mentioned her fondness for Damian out loud twice within minutes in front of her husband.
Lily Winters claims she is not fond of Damian in “that kind of way,” but regardless, she is obsessed with him. Apparently, she doesn’t have enough at Winters, Inc. & continues to stick her nose where it doesn’t belong. She’s been doing everything in her power via Victor Newman who recently screwed her over to get the scoop on Damian. Nate hasn’t been pleased & of course, Devon has questions.
Wild Cards & Whiplash for Nate Hastings All Day
It’s a good thing Damian & his mother Amy Lewis are getting along again, & he is supporting her because Nate Hastings’ attention is being spun around his circle & their obsessions & his head is spinning.
Unfortunately, Nate breaking up with Audra is inevitable. Y&R fans are left to wonder if she will end up between the sheets with Kyle &/or Holden?
Finally, how much longer will Nate tolerate Lily digging into Damian’s past? Ergo, irritating Amy as she’s going through another round of cancer treatment?
