Oh Nick, Young and the Restless fans. OH NICK. On Thursday, Nick Newman keeps a secret from Sharon, and honestly? We’re not even a little bit surprised! This man and secrets go together like Victor and revenge plots!
Wednesday’s spoilers had Nick “taking matters into his own hands.” We don’t know exactly what he did, but we KNOW it was something big. Something he probably shouldn’t have done. And now instead of telling Sharon about it, he’s keeping it to himself. Because that ALWAYS works out well in Genoa City! Spoiler alert: it does NOT!
What is Nick Newman hiding? Did he go after Matt Clark himself after their car crash struggle? Did he do something shady to protect his family? Did he make a deal he doesn’t want Sharon to know about? Whatever it is, Sharon is going to find out eventually. She ALWAYS finds out. And when she does? It’s not going to be pretty!

Sharon Deserves Better Than This
Here’s the thing – Sharon and Nick have been through EVERYTHING together. Multiple marriages. Kids. Trauma. Loss. More drama than most people experience in ten lifetimes. And after all of that, Nick STILL thinks keeping secrets from her is a good idea?
Sharon has been dealing with the Matt Clark situation right alongside Nick. Matt Clark came to town claiming to be “Mitch Bacall” looking for his wife Sienna. Nick ended up in a car crash with him. Noah was in the hospital. This has been a FAMILY crisis, and Sharon has been in the trenches with Nick the whole time.
So whatever Nick did on Wednesday when he “took matters into his own hands” – why does he think Sharon can’t handle knowing about it? Is he trying to protect her? Is he ashamed of what he did? Does he think she’ll try to stop him? Whatever his reasoning, keeping secrets from Sharon Newman is a recipe for disaster and Nick should KNOW that by now!
Sally Forces Billy to Come Clean
Meanwhile on Young and the Restless, Sally Spectra forces Billy Abbott to come clean on Thursday, and it’s about TIME someone called him out! Billy has been sitting alone drinking and toasting to “Victor Newman and Newman Enterprises going up in flames.” He told Sally everything was fine and his revenge obsession was under control. LIES!
Sally walked in on him drinking and asked what was wrong. He brushed it off. But Sally isn’t stupid, and she’s clearly not letting this go. What is Billy hiding? Is it about his involvement in the Newman takedown? His lingering thirst for revenge? Something else entirely?
Billy Abbott has a history of spiraling when he doesn’t deal with his demons. Sally forcing him to come clean might be exactly what he needs – or it might blow up in both their faces!
Phyllis Summers Defends Her Actions
Phyllis Summers defends her actions on Thursday, and when is Phyllis NOT defending something chaotic she’s done? This woman walked into Victor Newman’s office with Cane and announced that Newman Enterprises was THEIRS. She’s been gleefully watching the AI attack devastate the company. She and Cane have been celebrating their hostile takeover attempt!
Who is Phyllis defending herself to? Is it her kids who are probably horrified? Is it Jack who warned that a war with Victor never ends? Is it someone else entirely who’s calling her out on her scheme?
Phyllis always thinks she’s right, even when she’s burning everything to the ground. Thursday is apparently no different!
Thursday’s Y&R is giving us secrets, confrontations, and Phyllis being Phyllis. Genoa City never changes!
