The Almighty Victor Newman now has Cane Ashby’s AI program and is in conjunction with his son, Adam Newman, to pull the trigger on Jabot and Jack Abbott. But Adam loves Jack Abbott about as much as Nikki does.

The Mustache & Smilin’ Jack’s 50-Year Feud
Yes, Genoa City, Wisconsin, on Young and the Restless has revolved around The Almighty Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), otherwise called The Mustache by Smilin’ Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) for 50 years. Back in the day, when The Mustache and Smilin’ Jack would have REAL drama and things would actually happen—like office chairs being thrown out of skyscraper windows in Genoa City—things were entertaining for Y&R fans.
Now, it’s even more lather, rinse, repeat, and Young and the Restless fans are either going to need some spice in these storylines or new batteries for their remotes to continue to run their FAST-FORWARD buttons.
Nikki & Adam’s Unlikely Common Ground
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) hates Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) nearly as much as Victor Newman hates Jack Abbott. Yet, she and Adam have one big thing in common—actually, a person in common—and that person is Jack Abbott.
Isn’t it already time for Young and the Restless to make SENSE? Nikki and Jack were married for a period of time and lived in the Newman Ranch House, raising the children Nikki had with Victor: Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
