The Young and the Restless
Nikki Newman Goes to War on Monday’s Y&R Spoilers and We’re Grabbing Popcorn
Nikki Newman confronts an ENEMY on Monday’s Y&R and we are READY for this showdown! Plus Victor double-crosses Jack because of course he does!
NIKKI NEWMAN IS GOING TO WAR ON MONDAY’S Y&R AND SOMEBODY BETTER RUN
TL;DR: Nikki Newman confronts an enemy on Monday’s Young and the Restless, and we are READY for whatever showdown is coming! Nikki doesn’t do confrontations halfway! Plus, Victor double-crosses Jack because of COURSE he does, and Cane surprises Phyllis!
Nikki Newman Woke Up and Chose Violence
When Nikki Newman confronts an enemy, she doesn’t play nice. She doesn’t mince words. She goes for the THROAT. On Monday’s Young and the Restless, Nikki confronts an enemy, and whoever is on the receiving end of Mrs. Newman’s wrath better have their affairs in order because Nikki came to WIN.
The spoilers are deliciously vague about WHO Nikki is confronting, which makes this even more exciting. Is it Phyllis, her longtime rival who is currently trying to STEAL NEWMAN ENTERPRISES? Is it Cane, Phyllis’s partner in corporate crime? Is it someone connected to the Jack situation? Is it Diane Jenkins Abbott, who’s been getting testy about Nikki’s connection to Jack? The possibilities are ENDLESS and all of them are delicious.

Our Money Is on Phyllis
Let’s be real: if Nikki Newman is confronting an “enemy,” Phyllis Summers has to be at the top of that list. These two women have DECADES of bad blood between them. They’ve fought over men, fought over business, fought just because they looked at each other wrong. Nikki and Phyllis going head-to-head is practically a Genoa City tradition.
And here’s the thing: Phyllis just announced that Newman Enterprises belongs to her and Cane now. She walked into Victor’s office and said there’s nothing he or anyone else can do about it. You think NIKKI NEWMAN is going to let that slide? You think Nikki is going to stand by while Red tries to steal her husband’s company? ABSOLUTELY NOT.
Melody Thomas Scott versus Michelle Stafford is always appointment television. These two actresses bring such fire to Nikki and Phyllis’s rivalry, and if Monday’s confrontation is between them, we are in for a TREAT. Hair might get pulled. Words will definitely get exchanged. And we will be watching every second.
Victor Double-Crosses Jack Because Leopards Don’t Change Their Spots
In news that surprises absolutely NO ONE, Victor Newman double-crosses Jack Abbott on Monday. Jack made Victor a shocking offer on Friday. They apparently worked together to find Matt Clark. Jack even told Diane that finding Matt “wasn’t the craziest part of the evening.” And how does Victor repay this cooperation? BY DOUBLE-CROSSING HIM.
Victor Newman is physically incapable of being a good ally. The man sees betrayal as a love language. Jack extended an olive branch, and Victor used it to whack him over the head. Classic Mustache behavior. Eric Braeden plays Victor’s scheming with such relish, and watching him betray Jack YET AGAIN is going to be infuriating and entertaining in equal measure.
Poor Jack. He really thought Victor might be different this time. He really thought they could work together against a common enemy. And now he’s learning the same lesson everyone learns eventually: never trust Victor Newman. EVER.
Cane Surprises Phyllis
In interesting timing, Cane Ashby surprises Phyllis Summers on Monday. These two have been scheming together, and Phyllis literally encouraged Cane to tap into his dark side. So what kind of surprise is Cane bringing?
Is he backing out of their plan? Did he do something she didn’t expect? Is he taking their scheme even FURTHER than Phyllis anticipated? With these two chaos agents, the surprise could be anything. Cane surprising Phyllis suggests he’s acting independently, which could either help their Newman takeover or completely derail it.
Given that Victor is double-crossing Jack on the same day and Nikki is confronting an enemy, Monday is shaping up to be ALL-OUT WAR in Genoa City. The Newmans are under attack from Phyllis and Cane. Jack is getting betrayed by Victor. And Nikki is going on the offensive. Buckle up!
