PATTY WILLIAMS RESURFACES ON THE YACHT WHERE JACK ABBOTT IS BEING HELD PRISONER

TL;DR: Jack Abbott is locked in a cabin on Victor Newman’s yacht with nothing but ocean for miles, and the last person he expected to see walk through that door on The Young and the Restless is Patty Williams — back in Genoa City and apparently very much in business with the man who has made it his life’s work to destroy the Abbotts.

Patty Williams Walks Into Jack Abbott’s Nightmare

Nobody saw this coming. Jack Abbott has been locked in a yacht cabin with nothing but ocean for miles, no personal effects, and the slow dawning certainty that Victor Newman is behind every miserable second of it. He has banged on the door. He has thrown things. He has done the math on how long he has been chloroformed and concluded that swimming home is not a realistic option.

And then the door finally opens and in walks Patty Williams.

Of all the faces Jack could have seen on the other side of that door, Patty Williams is the one that makes his blood run cold in a completely different way than Victor ever could. This is not an adversary. This is not muscle. This is a woman with a long, tangled, deeply complicated history with Jack, who has spent years being institutionalized, and who is now apparently free, operational, and standing in the cabin of a Newman yacht with a smile on her face telling him it is nice to see him too.

Victor did not just kidnap Jack Abbott. He unleashed Patty Williams on him. And based on the teaser that Patty is willing to show Jack around the yacht in exchange for a kiss, she is not here to rescue him.

Billy Abbott Has a Clock Ticking and No Good Options

Back in Genoa City, Billy Abbott is running out of time and running out of moves. Victor gave him until end of day to sign Chancellor back over, and the beautiful irony of this entire situation is that Billy does not even fully control Chancellor yet. Phyllis Summers still does. So before Billy can even think about handing anything over to Victor, he has to get Phyllis to hand it over to him first, which requires convincing a woman currently drunk on her own corporate power to voluntarily give up the one thing that makes her feel untouchable.

Billy confronts Phyllis directly and demands she sign Chancellor over immediately. Diane Jenkins and Kyle Abbottback him up before tactfully clearing the room. Phyllis, to her credit, does not make it easy. She is in the middle of what might be a reconciliation with Daniel Romalotti, she is offended by the interruption, and she is not remotely convinced she owes any Abbott anything.

Meanwhile Diane and Kyle storm Newman Ranch to confront Victor directly. Victor sits back, smiles, and tells them Jack is safe for now. Kyle wants to call the police. Diane tells him to put the phone down. Victor tells them all to talk to Billy if they want their husband and father back. The man is genuinely enjoying every second of this.

Audra Charles Gets Back in the Game

Over at Society, Audra Charles and Holden Novak are having the kind of conversation that tends to end with someone making a very bad decision. Holden wants Audra to go after Kyle Abbott again to break up his connection with Claire Newman so he can move in on Claire himself. Audra initially wants no part of it. Then Holden pushes exactly the right buttons, Kyle catches Audra’s eye from across the restaurant, and Audra decides she is very much in.

She said it herself. She could make Kyle beg. And Audra Charles has never walked away from a challenge she knew she could win.

Is Patty Williams working WITH Victor or does she have her own agenda on that yacht? And is Audra going after Kyle going to blow up everything? Drop your take in the comments because Genoa City is on fire today!
