Oh. My. GOD! Did anyone else’s jaw hit the floor during yesterday’s episode when Victor Newman absolutely DEMOLISHED Phyllis Summers with just a few choice words? And what she did next? I’m still reeling!

THE ULTIMATE REJECTION

Picture this: There’s Phyllis, sauntering into the jazz lounge like she’s holding all the cards, thinking she’s about to play the great Victor Newman himself. The confidence! The audacity! The absolute DELUSION!

She offers him information about Billy Abbott’s plans with the mysterious Aristotle Dumas in exchange for a business opportunity. As if Victor doesn’t already know everything happening in Genoa City!

“I’m Victor Newman. I know exactly what the hell I’m talking about.”

Those words! The way Eric Braeden delivered that line was Emmy-worthy, folks. You could practically see Phyllis shrinking before our eyes.

But here’s where it gets JUICY…

PHYLLIS PLAYS WITH FIRE

The second—and I mean THE SECOND—Victor walks away, what does our favorite redheaded schemer do? Calls Dumas’ office! Are you kidding me?! Has she learned NOTHING from decades of tangling with The Mustache?

“I’m down but not out,” she tells herself after getting his assistant. Honey, you’re not just down—Victor practically buried you six feet under with that dismissal!

This move is classic Phyllis. When one powerful man rejects her, she immediately pivots to another. Remember when she bounced between Jack and Nick all those years ago? Same Phyllis, different decade!

WHO IS ARISTOTLE DUMAS, ANYWAY?

The mystery surrounding Aristotle Dumas just keeps deepening. We’ve heard his name for weeks, but nobody seems to know who this guy actually is!

Is he really Amanda Sinclair in disguise, using a male alias to manipulate from behind the scenes? That wild theory has been gaining traction among fans, especially after Amanda’s recent suspicious return to town. It would explain why nobody ever speaks to Dumas directly—always through assistants or intermediaries!

Or could he be a brand new character altogether? Rumors are swirling that Billy Flynn from “Days of Our Lives” might be crossing over to play this mysterious powerbroker. Talk about a soap surprise!

One thing’s certain—whoever Dumas is, they’ve got a serious axe to grind against Victor. And now Phyllis is trying to insert herself right in the middle of this high-stakes game.

VICTOR ALREADY TWO STEPS AHEAD

Let’s be real for a second. Does Phyllis honestly believe that Victor doesn’t already know she’s contacting Dumas? This is VICTOR NEWMAN we’re talking about!

I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s already got someone monitoring Dumas’ calls. He practically told her he knew what Billy was planning with Dumas before she even opened her mouth!

“This was completely predictable and Billy is a loser,” Victor said, in what might be the understatement of the year.

The man has probably already countered every possible move Phyllis could make. That’s what makes him the ultimate chess master of Genoa City!

THE BIGGER PICTURE

While Phyllis is busy playing both sides, there’s clearly something MUCH bigger happening behind the scenes.

Did you catch that moment when Victor called Adam right after his confrontation with Billy? He ordered the release of that smear campaign against Billy-boy! The Newman-Abbott feud is heating up to levels we haven’t seen in YEARS!

Meanwhile, Damian is getting pulled into a double-agent scheme involving Dumas, with Nate reluctantly supporting his half-brother despite serious reservations. The family dynamics there are absolutely fascinating—”I’m trying to protect you, damnit!” Nate shouted in one of the most emotional moments of yesterday’s episode.

All these storylines are about to collide in spectacular fashion, and Phyllis just threw herself right into the middle of it all!

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

So what can we expect in tomorrow’s episode? Phyllis is clearly not giving up. When has she EVER? But playing Victor and Dumas against each other is like juggling dynamite while standing in a puddle of gasoline!

Will Dumas actually take her call? Or will she be left hanging, rejected by TWO powerful men in as many days? My money’s on the latter, but this is Phyllis we’re talking about—she always finds a way to weasel into situations where she doesn’t belong!
