So Danny Romalotti and Christine Blair FINALLY got married despite the chrysanthemum disaster, and the reception at the GCAC is absolutely GORGEOUS! Gina Romalotti gives a sweet speech about their first date and how a certain “shrew who will remain nameless” kept them apart! Nina Webster shares etiquette stories! Michael Baldwin jokes about starring Lauren Fenmore in Danny’s music video with all the hair and feathers, then threatens to take back his donated kidney if things go wrong! Daniel Romalotti Jr. gives the most BEAUTIFUL best man speech about his dad!
Everything is PERFECT until Phyllis Summers walks in with Cane Ashby, grabs champagne, and announces she wants to make a toast! Michael Baldwin tells her it’s NOT the time, but Christine Blair says she’s deliriously happy and whatever Phyllis has to say might be ENTERTAINING on Y&R!

Phyllis Summers Actually Keeps It CLASSY
So Phyllis Summers stands there with TEARS in her eyes and says her son is right–she’s never seen Danny Romalotti so happy! She gets emotional and says someone told her it’s healthy to move on from past relationships, and the people who NEVER moved on are standing right there–Cricket and Danny! But WAIT. Instead of being petty, Phyllis Summers says she can see they were MEANT to be! She talks about Danny’s goofy grin whenever he looks at Christine Blair, and her tenacity because she never gave up! Then Phyllis holds up her glass and says “Cheers, everyone!”
EXCUSE ME?! Did Phyllis Summers just give a GENUINE toast?! Is this character growth?! Daniel Romalotti Jr. immediately leads his mother away because even HE can’t believe it!
Phyllis And Cane Play Strip Therapy
After her surprisingly mature moment, Phyllis Summers heads to her GCAC suite with Cane Ashby! Cane thinks she was paying lip service and wants PROOF she’s over Danny Romalotti! Phyllis grins and kisses him passionately, then suggests they play a game where every piece of clothing represents baggage they leave behind! Phyllis removes their shirts–hers represents grief over Danny and Cricket’s reunion, his represents Lily Winters! She takes off his belt–this represents his kids’ disapproval! Phyllis drops her skirt and says it represents needing approval from losers in town! They kiss passionately on Young and the Restless!
Daniel Performs With Tessa
Back at the reception, Daniel Romalotti Jr. tells Tessa Porter he’s AFRAID to perform because his dad is a rock star! But Tessa reminds him he started playing music to process grief for Heather Stevens! Daniel announces he has a wedding gift, pulls out his guitar, and Tessa sings this BEAUTIFUL song! Danny Romalotti and Christine Blair dance slowly, and when it ends with “some things never burn out,” everyone applauds! Danny asks if Daniel wants to follow in his footsteps, and Daniel laughs–this was his farewell tour! Tessa hugs him and says she’s PROUD!
Danny and Cricket toast everyone and announce they’re heading to Paris! Cricket says love is rarely easy but worth it when you refuse to give up!
Daniel And Tessa KISS While Phyllis Watches
Later, Tessa smiles at Daniel and says “What a romantic day!” She can’t think of anything more perfect! Daniel can. He leans in and KISSES Tessa, and she kisses him back! And guess who walks in? Phyllis Summers and Cane Ashby! Phyllis does a DOUBLE-TAKE seeing her son kiss Tessa! This is going to be INTERESTING!
Meanwhile, Danny and Cricket head to their suite and kiss passionately! Later they make their grand exit as everyone throws rose petals! Michael Baldwin tells Lauren Fenmore the dress was perfection! Tessa and Daniel agree the wedding was perfect, and that’s when he kisses her again!
