The Young and the Restless
Phyllis Summers and Cane Ashby Come for Victor Newman’s Throne in Next Week’s Jaw-Dropping Y&R Preview
Phyllis Summers and Cane Ashby tell Victor Newman that Newman Enterprises is THEIRS next week on Y&R! The audacity is UNREAL!
PHYLLIS SUMMERS AND CANE ASHBY TELL VICTOR NEWMAN THAT NEWMAN ENTERPRISES IS THEIRS ON NEXT WEEK’S Y&R
TL;DR: Next week on Young and the Restless, Phyllis Summers and Cane Ashby march into Victor Newman’s office and tell him Newman Enterprises is THEIRS. The audacity! Plus, Jack Abbott tells Diane that finding Matt Clark wasn’t even the craziest part of his evening with Victor, and Tessa tells Sharon she can’t do this anymore!
Phyllis and Cane Really Said “Your Company Is Ours Now” to VICTOR NEWMAN
We need everyone to sit down for this one because the AUDACITY is astronomical. In next week’s Young and the Restless preview, Phyllis Summers and Cane Ashby march into a meeting with Victor Newman and Phyllis straight up tells The Mustache that Newman Enterprises is THEIRS and there’s nothing Victor or anyone else can do about it.
EXCUSE US?! Phyllis and Cane really woke up and chose corporate warfare against VICTOR NEWMAN?! The man who has destroyed empires? The man who has buried enemies for DECADES? The man whose revenge plots are legendary in Genoa City? THAT Victor Newman? And these two think they’ve WON?!
Write in to the editor atย amber@soapoperamagazine.comย and tell me: Do Phyllis Summers and Cane Ashby actually have Victor beat, or are they about to learn a very painful lesson?
When Phyllis Said “Dark Side” She Meant CORPORATE TAKEOVER
So THIS is what Phyllis meant when she encouraged Cane to tap into his dark side on Friday. She wasn’t talking about petty scheming or minor revenge. She was talking about STEALING VICTOR NEWMAN’S ENTIRE COMPANY. Phyllis Summers really said “go big or go home” and Cane said “bet.”
The sheer confidence of Phyllis telling Victor there’s “nothing he or anyone else can do about it” is either incredibly brave or incredibly stupid. Probably both. Michelle Stafford delivering that line to Eric Braeden must have been ELECTRIC to film. Phyllis has done a lot of bold things in her life, but telling Victor Newman his company belongs to her now? That’s a new level of chaos.
We have SO many questions. How did Phyllis and Cane get control of Newman Enterprises? Did they buy up shares? Find some legal loophole? Use the schemes they’ve been cooking up together to orchestrate a hostile takeover? Whatever they did, they’re confident enough to say it to Victor’s face, and that means they think they’ve got him cornered.
Victor Newman Is NOT Going to Take This Lying Down
Here’s the thing about telling Victor Newman you’ve taken his company: you better be RIGHT. Because if there’s even a SLIVER of a chance Victor can fight back, he WILL. And his revenge will be legendary.
Victor built Newman Enterprises from nothing. It’s his legacy. It’s his identity. It’s the empire he’s protected against countless enemies over the decades. And now Phyllis Summers and Cane Ashby think they can just… take it? The absolute NERVE.
We cannot WAIT to see how Victor responds. Does he already have a countermove planned? Is he going to unleash holy hell on Phyllis and Cane? Is this the beginning of the biggest corporate war Genoa City has ever seen? Next week is going to be UNHINGED.
Finding Matt Clark Wasn’t Even the Craziest Part?!
In other wild Young and the Restless news, Jack Abbott tells Diane about his meeting with Victor, and apparently “finding Matt wasn’t the craziest part of the evening!” WHAT?! Jack and The Great Victor Newman handling this whole Matt Clark drama TOGETHER? And something even CRAZIER happened?!
What could possibly be crazier than locating the psychopath who’s been terrorizing the Newmans, kidnapping Sienna, and choking Nick while he drives? What did Jack and Victor discover? What happened at this meeting? The fact that MATT CLARK is the LESS crazy part of the story has us absolutely spinning!
Jack making Victor a “shocking offer” on Friday clearly led to some kind of alliance, and now they’ve apparently found Matt together. The enemies teaming up against a common threat? And then something EVEN WILDER happening? Next week cannot come fast enough!
Tessa Has Reached Her Breaking Point
In heartbreaking news, Tessa Porter tells Sharon Newman that she can’t do this anymore because it’s too hard. Poor Tessa has been caught between her feelings for Daniel and her guilt about Mariah, and apparently it’s all becoming too much.
Tessa moving on with Daniel while Mariah spirals in therapy has clearly been weighing on her. Is she breaking things off with Daniel? Confessing her guilt to Sharon? Unable to handle watching Mariah suffer while she finds happiness? Whatever “this” is that Tessa can’t do anymore, it’s breaking her heart and probably ours too.
