Phyllis Is Recruiting for Her Villain Team

Let’s talk about what Billy actually heard, because Phyllis was in RARE form.

She’s been circling Cane like a shark ever since she figured out he’s the one who created Victor’s AI. And now that Lily has brutally cut all ties with Cane via text, Phyllis pounced. She told Cane that Lily is “holier-than-thou” and that since Lily left town because of him, that makes her his ENEMY.

Then she pitched him on stealing the AI back from Victor and using it to take over Newman Enterprises. “Together, we will pry Newman Enterprises from Victor’s hands,” she purred. “Could there be a better revenge?”

Phyllis is literally assembling a supervillain team to destroy Victor Newman and she’s recruiting anyone with a grudge. It’s unhinged. It’s chaotic. It’s extremely Phyllis.

Billy Heard Every Word

Here’s the thing: Billy was standing RIGHT THERE. He heard Phyllis talking about partnering with Cane. He heard the plan to steal the AI. He heard everything about taking down Victor and Newman Enterprises.

And then? He just… walked away. Without saying a word. Without either of them noticing.

He could tell Victor. Imagine the chaos of Billy warning Victor about the plot against him. Victor would owe him one. Billy could leverage that into all kinds of mischief.

He could tell Lily. She just left town to get away from Cane, but finding out her ex is plotting with Phyllis to commit corporate espionage? That might bring her running back with lawyers.

He could blackmail Phyllis and Cane. Billy loves leverage. He loves having the upper hand. And now he has BOTH of them exactly where he wants them.

Or he could do the most Billy thing possible: sit on this information until the worst possible moment and then detonate it when it causes maximum damage to everyone involved, including himself.

Sally Should Be Worried

Here’s the part that makes us nervous. Billy JUST had this beautiful conversation with Sally about being a better man. He promised to be a true partner. He promised not to be messy. He promised to prove himself every day.

And then literally THAT SAME NIGHT he stumbled into information that could destroy multiple people and chose to keep it secret from everyone, including her.

Sally is worried about the old Billy coming back. Well, honey, the old Billy might already be here. He’s just being quiet about it for now.

This Is Going to Blow Up Spectacularly

He’s going to sit on this information. He’s going to convince himself he’s being strategic. He’s going to tell himself he’s protecting Sally by not involving her. And then one day, probably at the worst possible moment, this whole thing is going to explode in everyone’s faces.

Phyllis has no idea Billy heard her villain monologue. Cane has no idea there’s a witness to their scheming. And Victor has no idea that Billy Abbott, of all people, might be the one who saves him from a corporate coup.
