SHARON NEWMAN AND PHYLLIS SUMMERS WENT THERE ABOUT MARTIN

TL;DR: Sharon Newman and Phyllis Summers sit down and say Martin’s name out loud on The Young and the Restless Wednesday, April 1, and the conversation goes places neither of them expected. Meanwhile, Riza Thompson kisses Matt Clark and then kisses Adam Newman in the same night, Nick Newman is buying drugs for seven people he invented, and Danny Romalotti invites Daniel Romalotti and Tessa Porter to Barcelona as “just friends” and nobody in that room believes it.

Sharon Newman and Phyllis Summers Summoned the Darkness

Sharon Newman finds Phyllis Summers at the park café and does the one thing nobody else in Genoa City has had the nerve to do: she says Martin’s name to her face and does not flinch.

These two women have spent the better part of a year pretending the man who kidnapped and terrorized them does not still live rent free in their heads. Sharon asks Phyllis if Martin is sitting in a cell somewhere laughing at them right now. Phyllis does not have an answer for that and the silence says everything.

Sharon tells her it has been a year since last month. Phyllis says Sharon ignored it. Sharon says they won. Phyllis is not so sure. Sharon is running from a maniac and Phyllis’s kids hate her. Neither of them is winning and both of them know it.

Sharon tries to get through to her. She tells her to trust the people who want the best for her. She asks Phyllis what she really wants. Phyllis says she wants it all. She says everyone who loved her has turned on her. The Newmans have each other. She has no one. And she refuses to stay in her lane any longer.

Then Phyllis Summers tells Sharon she is the only person she would reach out to if she wanted to talk. The woman who stole Victor Newman’s empire and hung her own portrait on the wall just admitted that her only real friend left in the world is the woman sitting across from her at a coffee shop. That is not a power move. That is a cry for help dressed up in lipstick and bravado.

Are Sharon Newman and Phyllis Summers finally going to deal with what Martin did to them or are they going to keep pretending they are fine? Send your hottest takes and wildest theories to [email protected] and we just might feature them on the site!

Riza Thompson Kissed Matt Clark and Then Kissed Adam Newman

Matt Clark shows up at Riza’s room, plants a kiss on her, and asks to be dealt into the game. Riza Thompson tells him no outsiders. He wants to meet her “good buddy.” She tells him it is not time yet. He gets a text and leaves.

Then Adam Newman walks in, plays cards, wins big, and gets a “welcome back, Spider” from Riza. She mentions she has a new partner. Adam asks to meet him. She says not yet. Then she kisses Adam.

This woman kissed the villain and kissed the hero in the same night and neither of them knows the other one exists. Adam is playing poker for the man who is terrorizing his entire family and he has absolutely no idea. Riza is collecting kisses and keeping secrets and honestly she might be the most dangerous person in Vegas right now.

Nick Newman Is Buying Drugs for Seven People He Made Up

Nick Newman has a dealer named Justin brought to his hotel room and tells him he is having a get together so he needs enough for six or seven people. He is not having a get together. There are no six or seven people. There is one man in a hotel room buying party quantities of drugs for himself and lying about it with the confidence of someone who has been lying about it for a while now.

He also asks Justin if he knows Mitch. Justin says he has not had the pleasure. Nick paces. Adam has no idea any of this is happening one room over. This is no longer a pill problem. This is a man sprinting toward a cliff and daring someone to notice before he goes over.

Danny Romalotti Sends Daniel and Tessa to Barcelona as “Friends”

Danny Romalotti catches Daniel Romalotti and Tessa Porter playing guitar together at Crimson Lights and immediately starts planning their music career. He offers to produce an album. He invites them to Barcelona to perform at a private club. They agree. As just friends. No expectations. No commitment. For the record deal.

Two people who recently admitted they have feelings for each other are going to Barcelona together to make music and they are calling it friendship. That is not a trip. That is a ticking time bomb with a boarding pass.

Is Phyllis Summers going to let Sharon Newman in or push away the only person left who cares? And how long before Adam Newman finds out Riza’s mystery partner is the man hunting his family? Sound off below!
