Young & the Restless fans were more than ready for Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) to pull back on mentioning her son, but were not as ready for Supergirl to leave Genoa City indefinitely. Speaking of Supergirl, that nickname isn’t going anywhere soon. Her parents, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) & Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) have compared notes & have both talked to their “Supergirl,” so Y&R fans can still drink to that.
Summer Newman Gets Creative in Bed in Milan
Wasn’t Summer Newman supposed to be finding a new Creative Director to replace Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan)? Well, per her mother Phyllis Summers, she’s found someone creative & he’s a hot Italian man she spends time with in & out of the bedroom in Milan.
Back in Genoa City, Summer Newman could barely have a conversation without mentioning “her son,” who isn’t so much her actual son. On top of that, she recently realized she’s somehow still into her ex-husband Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). How anyone could want Kyle Abbott back again has Young & the Restless fans baffled, especially after Summer was with that sexy Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd). This new Italian hottie must be all that & then some for Miss Summer to forget about her son & her ex, & Claire Newman (Hayley Erin)??…
Kyle Hears About the Hottie, Harrison Hears About His New Mom
Just as Summer left last minute for Milan & kissed her son goodbye, Kyle let her know that he & Claire are planning to move in together, & she didn’t freak out at all. The Summer Newman by Allison Lanier, who Young & the Restless fans know well,l would have flipped out & screamed about how wrong it is for Kyle to even consider moving in with Claire, who tried to kill her family. Summer Newman would never immediately allow Claire to be a live-in mother figure for her son.
Instead, Summer was totally chill & only asked that Kyle wait to tell Harrison until she returns to Genoa City. Well, that’s about to change. Once Kyle Abbott hears about Summer’s new sexy male priority in Milan, he will flip out & will tell Harrison as fast as he can to retaliate. Harrison does love Claire & Claire loves Harrison. Despite Claire recently stalling their move-in date, Kyle is already ready to tee up Mother #3 for Harrison.
