The Almighty Victor Newman has fired the best attorney ever to work in Genoa City & his daughter Victora’s latest love interest from loving her. Now they are on the verge of agreeing to intern as Abbott family spies to earn back Victor’s trust. It seems The Mustache is taking a page out of Tucker McCall’s book & will attempt to use Kyle Abbott as the tool he is inside Jabot.

To get back in The Great Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) graces his former attorney Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) & his former son-in-law Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) will have to prove themselves as excellent relationship builders with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) & Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) respectively.

Wait, did Victor Newman really just call Diane “Diane Abbott” & not “Diane Jenkins?” Was Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) ever called “Summer Abbott” when she was married to Kyle? Anyway…

Cole Howard becoming Kyle’s newest friend will be a slam dunk. The fondness they both have for Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) is over the top, more so with Kyle, of course. Also, Kyle continues to roll as Genoa City’s best-looking-entitled dumbass & will fall for anything.

Michael Baldwin has by far been given the toughest assignment from Victor Newman. Michael & Diane are friendly & have been in the past, but Diane isn’t stupid. She almost always is desperate, however, so there’s a chance.

Lauren Fenmore Gets Looped In, Victoria: Not So Much

There’s not much Michael Baldwin can keep away from his wife Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman). Ergo, Lauren is going to be the next Genoa City resident to learn that Victor Newman had been keeping Jordan (Colleen Zenk) alive in his on-site dungeon/wine cellar inside The Newman Ranch. Michael’s relationship with Lauren will prove advantageous for Victor’s latest assignment because Lauren won’t be worried that Michael is cheating on her with Diane, but may need to fake it a bit to help out. Sad bastard Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will totally buy in & will feel obligated to reassure Lauren that he & Diane have hit some bumps but are just fine.

As for Cole Howard, there’s not a chance he’s going to level with Victoria Newman (Ameilia Heinle) on this, at least until Aunt Jordan is actually dead. He wants to protect Victoria & his insta-daughter Claire Grace. Victoria will find it strange that Cole is keeping company with Kyle, but Cole will reassure Victoria that he’s doing so to support their daughter Claire. In fact, there’s a date in Cole & Victoria’s future…

Victor Newman is bored yet again in Genoa City on Young & the Restless. Sure, he’s not fond of Jack Abbott… Blah, blah blah, but what is Victor up to now? Will Victor Newman go “old-school” & attempt to take down Jabot? He has his new interns going after one of the Jabot CEOs & the Jabot COO.
