After nearly 50 years of Victor & Nikki’s on-again, off-again marriage on Young & the Restless, Nikki still has no idea that she will never call Checkmate on Victor Newman. Nikki is most often Victor’s Queen, but that’s as far as her power moves will go ever-ever-ever go on Y&R. Still, Nikki has no idea. Now, in real time, she’s getting a quick review that will likely not sink in. Why should things change? Victor Newman never will. If Nikki doesn’t watch it she’ll be demoted to at least a Rook if not a Bishop or Knight… & may or not hold whichever position while remaining on the wagon.

Victor Newman: Nikki Newman’s Adult Ice Cream Truck

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) calling Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) ‘Darling’ or ‘Baby’ in or out of marriage works on Nikki 80% of all of the time. Although, he last few times it hasn’t been working as Nikki without a job has been to be a gal about town visiting with others, most of who have been screwed over by her often adoring husband.

It’s like Victor Newman is Nikki Newman’s exclusive ice cream truck for adults & she’s the only adult customer. In addition to ice cream, Victor also provides giant bandaids, but does he have a big enough bandaid to mend the hurt the lies he has caused as he’s kept her out of the loop with his most recent business dealings in Genoa City?

Glissade is the Frosting on the Chancellor Industries Let Down Coming Soon

Speaking of ice cream, that is not the only dessert Nikki Newman will have infinite access to. Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is one empty promise disguised as sincere from being named as CEO of Glissade. Nikki Newman seriously just learned that the man she shares a bed with is the “mystery investor” of Glissade formally owned by Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).

Nikki Newman was promised a CEO position at Chancellor Industries which Victor Newman doesn’t yet own. Victor Newman has totally put the cart before the horse. He should know better. He owns a ranch along with a collection of horses. Nikki Newman should also know better how to handle her husband but that isn’t happening either on Y&R. Between Nikki & Diane, Diane is far closer to being named solo CEO than Nikki.

Victor’s Desserts Will Not Keep Nikki on The Wagon

Not only has Victor lied to Nikki about his pending acquisition of Chancellor Industries, he’s also nowhere near forthcoming with what he has going on with Glissade. To top it off Victor’s disguised dessert platter, he is leaving Nikki out of the loop of his one-on-one conversations with Diane Jenkins & all of the potential outcomes good or bad may or may not shake out.

How long before Nikki Newman overindulges in what Victor has been serving her & serves herself some vodka? At this point, if things do not change, Nikki Newman will fall off the wagon & into the Empty Glass Bar just outside of Genoa City on Young & the Restless.
