VICTOR NEWMAN STRIKES BACK AND HOLDS CANE ASHBY’S FEET TO THE FIRE NEXT WEEK — AND PHYLLIS SUMMERS IS ABOUT TO LEARN WHY YOU NEVER CROSS THE MUSTACHE

TL;DR: According to The Young and the Restless spoilers, Victor Newman strikes back against Cane Ashby on Wednesday, holds his feet to the fire on Friday, and implores his family to trust his plan — while Phyllis Summers stands by her man like a fool who’s never met Victor Newman before.

Victor Newman Doesn’t Lose

Did Cane Ashby really think he could steal Newman Enterprises and walk away unscathed? Did Phyllis Summers honestly believe Victor Newman would just roll over and accept defeat?

Oh, honey. No.

According to The Young and the Restless spoilers for next week, Victor Newman is done waiting. On Wednesday, Victor “strikes back against Cane.” On Thursday, he “implores his family to trust his plan.” And on Friday, Victor “holds Cane’s feet to the fire.”

Three days. Three moves. And Cane Ashby is about to find out what happens when you poke the Mustache.

Do you think Victor’s plan will work? And will Phyllis Summers finally get what’s coming to her? Write to the editor at amber@soapoperamagazine.com!

The Secret Plan Is in Motion

We know what Victor’s plan is — even if Victoria and Nick don’t.

Victor wants to use Lily Winters, Mattie Ashby, and Charlie Ashby as leverage against Cane. Adam confessed the whole thing to Chelsea, and Chelsea told Nikki. Now Nikki is on board, but she insisted they do it properly — no forced abductions, no putting Lily or her children in danger.

The goal? Convince Lily that helping the Newmans take down her ex-husband is the right thing to do. Turn Cane’s own family against him. Use the people he loves as the weapon that destroys him.

That’s why “Nikki worries about Lily’s safety” on Wednesday. She knows this plan is a powder keg. One wrong move and innocent people get hurt.

But Victor Newman has never let collateral damage stop him before.

Phyllis Summers Chose Violence — And Lost

Here’s what kills us about Phyllis Summers: she KNOWS Victor Newman. She’s watched him destroy enemies for decades. She’s seen what happens to people who cross him.

And she did it anyway.

On Thursday, “Phyllis gives Cane some much-needed moral support.” Which means by Thursday, Cane is going to NEED moral support. Whatever Victor does on Wednesday is going to shake him. And Phyllis — brilliant, chaotic, eternally self-destructive Phyllis — is going to double down on backing the losing horse.

Nick already told her she’s pathetic. Sharon compared her to Martin Laurent. Summer won’t return her calls. Daniel is probably next to turn his back on her.

Phyllis Summers has burned every bridge she ever had for a man who openly admitted their relationship isn’t love. And now she’s about to watch Victor Newman tear him apart piece by piece.

The Abbotts Are Making Moves Too

While Victor handles Cane, the Abbotts aren’t sitting idle.

On Wednesday, “Jack and Diane celebrate a win.” On Friday, “Jack and Kyle make a power move.”

What win? What power move? We don’t know yet — but Jack Abbott has been watching this Newman/Cane chaos from the sidelines, and he’s clearly ready to capitalize on it. When your enemies are busy destroying each other, that’s the perfect time to strike.

Could the Abbotts be positioning themselves to swoop in and grab Chancellor while everyone else is distracted? Billy is supposed to be taking over as CEO, but if Jill’s health is declining (Lauren gives Billy an update about Jill on Wednesday), the Abbott family might see an opening.

Trust the Mustache

Victor Newman has one message for his family next week: trust his plan.

Victoria doesn’t know the details. Nick is being kept in the dark. But Victor and Adam have been working together on this, and Nikki has given her blessing.

When Victor Newman tells his family to trust him, he’s not asking. He’s warning them to stay out of his way while he handles business.

Cane Ashby thought he won when he took Newman Enterprises. He’s about to learn that Victor Newman doesn’t play for points — he plays for keeps.

Y&R fans, is Victor about to destroy Cane completely? And will Phyllis go down with him? Sound off in the comments!
