The Newman Palazzo as a Positive Pawn on Y&R

Young & the Restless fans have had it up to you know where between Victor Newman’s ongoing angst for Jack Abbott & his son Kyle, & also the endless chatter about Aristotle Dumas. Something has to give & it’s about time that something comes from The Almighty Victor Newman. Might the Newman Palazzo be a pawn of Victor’s for good on Y&R?…

The Newman Palazzo Needs to Be Checked On, Perhaps a Positive Pawn

No one has been to the Newman Palazzo since Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) married Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi). It was the Wedding of the Century until it turned out Ashland Locke was really Bobby DeFranco, didn’t really have cancer, & was accidently killed by Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Technically, Victor & Nikki Newman (Eric Braeden & Melody Thomas Scott) gifted the Palazzo to Victoria & Ashland (also portrayed by Robert Newman), but as easily as Victor Newman gives, he taketh away. Young & the Restless fans will just go ahead & assume Victor owns & controls their Palazzo in Milan, Italy & it can be used for him & Nikki, or anyone else, how he sees fit. What if Victor’s heart could grow 3 sizes like The Grinch & the Palazzo could be used as one of his pawns for good?

Jack Saved Nikki Newman, Now off to Italy with Diane

Victor Newman still has not been able to get it through his thick skull that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) did save his darling wife, Nikki Newman, during her break from sobriety. What this really all comes down to is that it wasn’t Victor that saved Nikki, it was his #1 nemesis, Jack Abbott. Victor Newman goes on & on about doing everything in his power to protect his family & he missed out this time. Wouldn’t it be nice if he would remove his head from his own ass & be thankful that his wife has recovered from another alcoholism occurrence? Victor doesn’t have to love Jack Abbott, but he can let up.

Now that Jack Abbott & Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) are finally taking their honeymoon & they are Italy bound, Victor could offer up the Newman Palazzo for them to stay at as a peace offering & part of his daily birthday gift giving to Nikki. Jack Abbott has been there before, as he was there for Victoria & Ashland’s wedding. He knows the way.

Harrison Needs to See Summer, Kyle & Claire Across the Pond

Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) has got to be going bonkers without “her son” now that she’s in Milan indefinitely for Marchetti. Meanwhile, Harrison’s dad, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) & his girlfriend/ex-nanny could use a break from Victor Newman. Victor continues to do everything in his power to break Kyle & Claire up & his daughter Victoria & his wife Nikki are not having it. This is another opportunity for Victor to play nice & make amends. Kyle has been to the Newman Palazzo as he also attended Victoria & Ashland’s wedding, so he also knows the way. What if Victor Newman could finally chill out & enjoy his retirement, spend time with his grandkids, & travel the world with his darling wife/his baby, Nikki Newman?

Young & the Restless Fans Will Settle, Victor Needs to Go

The Almighty Victor Newman needs to go on a trip & he can bring Nikki Newman with him. Young & the Restless fans need a break. Victor Newman almost never as of late, has anything nice to say to anyone. He’s mean & it’s already past getting old. Victor needs a refresh. So, if he isn’t going to use the Newman Palazzo for good to move on from his endless Abbott vendettas, he & Nikki can report there indefinitely until he can be nice to anyone again in Genoa City.
