This Week in Genoa City

Victor Newman will give Cane Ashby a warning shot on Monday, and when Victor Newman fires a warning shot, the next one is never far behind. By Friday, Victor will make good on a threat, which means whatever he started on Monday he intends to finish by the end of the week.

Meanwhile in Las Vegas, Nick Newman will travel down a dangerous path on Wednesday that goes well beyond the hunt for Matt Clark. The What’s Next preview showed Nick taking a baggie of drugs from his dealer and the dealer handing him something extra. The golden boy of Genoa City is spiraling and nobody back home fully understands how far he has fallen. By Thursday, Matt Clark will close in on Nick, and a compromised Newman being hunted by the man he came to find is the most dangerous combination The Young and the Restless has put together all year.

Monday, March 30

Victor will give Cane a warning shot, and given that Victor has been circling Cane’s operation for weeks, this is the opening salvo of something much bigger. Lily Winters will find herself in hot water with Devon Winters and Nate Hastings, and the Winters family dynamics are about to get very uncomfortable. And Nikki Newman will be standing on business with her family, which is Nikki at her most formidable and everyone around her should take note.

Tuesday, March 31

Devon and Abby Newman will receive upsetting news about Dominic, and anything involving that child is going to send both parents into protective mode immediately. Kyle Abbott and Claire Newman will find themselves on different sides of an issue, and these two being at odds is new territory for Genoa City. And Tessa Porter will face a tough decision about Mariah Copeland that could define whether they find their way back to each other or not.

Wednesday, April 1

Nick will travel down a dangerous path, and the preview made it clear that path includes drugs, a dealer who is happy to provide, and a man who is losing control of himself while trying to control everything around him. Danny Romalottiwill present Daniel Romalotti and Tessa with an exciting opportunity, and Danny coming through for the next generation is always welcome. And Adam Newman will embrace his alter ego, which means the Spider is waking up in Las Vegas and Genoa City should be nervous about what he brings home.

Thursday, April 2

Phyllis Summers will hold Lily accountable for her actions, and Phyllis Summers holding anyone accountable is the kind of confrontation that Genoa City lives for. Victoria Newman will defend Victor’s actions to people who have every right to be furious, and Victoria playing shield for her father is a role she has been performing her entire life. And Matt Clark will close in on Nick, which means the hunter has become the hunted in Vegas and Nick is not in any condition to see it coming.

Friday, April 3

Victor will make good on a threat, and whatever he promised on Monday, he is delivering on Friday. Nikki will use her power of persuasion with Jack Abbott, and Nikki going to Jack for something always carries forty years of history with it. Diane Jenkins and Kyle will interrogate Victoria, and an Abbott mother and son team pressing a Newman for answers is the kind of scene Y&R was built for. And Sienna Bacall will catch Noah Newman reminiscing with Audra Charles, which is either the end of Sienna’s patience or the beginning of her next move.
