Fox lined up for the comedy Women Like Us alongside Whoopi Goldberg, Jenifer Lewis and Vanessa Williams, with Tasha Smith directing and the Obamas’ Higher Ground among the producers. New head writers Jamey Giddens and Dan O’Connor have their first material airing this fall, and since the kiss came from the outgoing team, they get the final say on whether it sticks. My gut says it does, because Vivica A. Fox has said goodbye to this set before and came back with a promotion.
