Nick Says Ignorance Is Bliss
Sharon Newman is still chewing on Matt Clark, and who could blame her? The man got driven to a psychiatric ward, was declared safely put away, and everyone in town exhaled. Over at Crimson Lights, Sharon finally asks what really happened to him, and Nick Newman hands her the world’s most unhelpful shrug: it’s best if she doesn’t know. That’s not an answer, that’s a movie trailer. Y&R Spoilers don’t say what Nick did or didn’t do, but this isn’t the first time someone has demanded to know what he did to Matt, and a man who says you don’t want to know usually means you absolutely do. Is Matt still tucked away at that clinic, or did Nick’s version of safely put away involve some creative interpretation?

Lily Hands Nate a Pink Slip
At Society, Lily Winters puts on her CEO hat and informs a stunned Nate Hastings that he is officially fired. Ouch. Nate only recently promised to step in at Winters if she needed him, and Lily is fresh off an all-clear on her health scare, so the timing has everyone’s eyebrows up. Y&R Spoilers don’t spell out her reasoning, but tough love is the obvious guess. Is she shoving him back toward medicine and away from the family pressure, or does this firing have a plot twist of its own?
Cane Spots a Familiar Face in London
In a London pub, Cane Ashby spots Kyle Abbott and wants to know what on earth he is doing across the pond. Cane flew over to be with Jill Abbott as she faces surgery, and Kyle told Jack he had to look into an acquisition that came up awfully fast. Victoria Newman is also London-bound for a deal, which makes this one pub a very crowded place for a very small cover story. Y&R Spoilers don’t say how Kyle explains himself. How long can an acquisition story hold up under Cane’s questions?
