LIPS LOCKED IN PUBLIC! Will Y&R’s Victoria Newman And Kyle Abbott Get Away With It Again In London?
Victoria Newman and Kyle Abbott made out in public at Crimson Lights and got away with it, but will London be as kind to this secret couple?
VICTORIA NEWMAN AND KYLE ABBOTT PUSHED THEIR LUCK IN PUBLIC
TL;DR: Y&R’s Victoria Newman and Kyle Abbott made out on a public patio and somehow dodged an audience, but London is bigger, busier, and packed with the exact people they are hiding from.

Public Kissing Is A Bold Strategy For A Secret Affair
Victoria Newman and Kyle Abbott have a secret apartment they call the danger zone, a short-lived plan to pretend they hate each other, and a lifetime supply of bad ideas, so naturally Kyle marched her onto the Crimson Lights patio and kissed her in public. Victoria couldn’t believe he did it, which is adorable from a woman who once joined a conference call wrapped in a blanket. They walked away clean, and the universe clearly wasn’t paying attention.
The closest call came from Phyllis Summers, who spotted them and wanted to know why they were together. Their answer was that a lot happened yesterday, which is technically true if you count a baby, a wedding, and a certain suite. Phyllis was far too delighted that it all happened at her club to dig deeper, and she even told them both to bring dates to her party. Dates, plural, for each other presumably, but not yet.
Then Kyle told Jack Abbott he had to look into an acquisition, which struck Jack as awfully sudden. The second he was alone, Kyle texted Victoria that he was ready to go. That is a business trip with a very specific kind of business.

Victor Newman Already Smells Something Funny
Victor Newman has been circling this romance like a shark who read the case studies. Victoria told Kyle they weren’t on anyone’s radar, but that was before her father joined a conference call in incognito mode, didn’t recognize her background, and asked if this had to do with “that punk Abbott.” She said she was at a friend’s place, which is the oldest dodge in the book.
Victor also told his wife that his daughter went missing the other day and nearly missed a meeting. Now he is the one sending Victoria Newman to London to finish a deal, and he stopped to mention that everyone might run into each other there. Could that be a warning? Coming from Victor, a casual observation is never casual.

London Is Big, But The Guest List Is Bigger
Thousands of tourists a day make a city feel like a very large hat to hide under. London also has Jill Abbott’s health crisis at the center of it, a serious reason the family is flying in and a story with no punchline. It does mean Billy Abbottis taking the Abbott jet with Michael Baldwin and Lauren Fenmore, and Cane Ashby is already on his way.
Billy is also Victoria’s ex-husband and Kyle’s uncle, which makes this the family reunion nobody pencilled in. Kyle promised to come up with a reason to fly, and the acquisition is his boarding pass. Victoria Newman shot down the Newman jet as too risky, though Kyle admitted he would love to join the mile high club.
Next week’s preview puts Cane in a London pub saying, “Fancy seeing you here. So, what are you doing in London, Kyle?” Imagine explaining a sudden acquisition to a man who has absolutely nothing to do but wait for your answer.

Mile High Club, Meet Reality
Getting away with one public kiss isn’t a track record, it’s a coin flip that landed their way. Victoria Newman and Kyle Abbott now head to a city where her father, her ex, and a nosy man in a pub all share the same time zone. Is it possible London keeps their secret? Sure, right up until somebody walks around the wrong corner.
