Katherine Chancellor Can’t Stop Rolling in Her Grave, CI’s Newest Loopholes

Nikki Newman has finally been crowned the Queen of Chancellor Industries by her King Victor Newman but there could not be more loopholes & Katherine Chancellor has to be rolling in her grave.

How is Nikki Newman’s C-suite the previous Chancellor Winters & Abbott Chancellor C-suite? Why were the Newmans celebrating Nikki’s first day by not going to work themselves? Why didn’t Victor Newman do everything in his power to make sure Billy Boy Abbott’s personal effects were already cleared out of the CI C-suite prior to his darling’s arrival?

Let’s unpack these loose ends on Young & the Restless…

Katherine Chancellor is Rolling in Her Grave

The late Katherine Chancellor (the late Jeanne Cooper) & Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) had a wonderful & long-lasting friendship until the end. There is no doubt in any Y&R fan’s mind that Katherine always wanted the very best for her dear friend Nikki & would continue to wish her that after she left this earth. However, Katherine Chancellor was not dumb & did not mince words. There is no way in hell that Katherine Chancellor would be on board with Nikki Newman running her corporation all these years later after her passing & Nikki growing older Katherine would think this would be a good fit.

She’s Not Just Rolling, Katherine Can’t Stop Laughing

What in God’s name is with the Chancellor Industries C-suite/office? Katherine Chancellor would have none of this & she would not be blaming Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) for it as he is receiving blame for everything from everyone who does not have red hair in Genoa City.

Since when is there not enough money in Genoa City on Young & the Restless for legitimate offices, especially Chancellor Industries… & especially since Chancellor Industries is now once again owned by The Almighty Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)? Nikki Newman’s new office is not much better than a shared office space in downtown Madison, WI or an intern’s office at Newman Enterprises.

‘No Newmans to Work Day’, Except for Nikki & Claire

Either Victor Newman is still enjoying the new Newman Ranch reveal, or he’s not going to Newman Enterprises. On his darling Nikki Newman’s first day he for once was not wearing a suit as she landed downstairs as professional as ever & with a fun new short haircut that her son Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) could not have loved more… He complimented her twice in front of their family & he wasn’t wearing a suit either.

Young & the Restless fans have been led to believe that Nick Newman still works at Newman Enterprises even though he never goes there, is never dressed professionally, & is now full-time not having any idea what is going on mentally with his favorite ex-wife, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) wasn’t dressed for work either & didn’t appear at all like she had anywhere to go ASAP.

Her daughter Claire Newman (Hayley Erin), however, was dressed just right to tag along for a ‘Grandmother Bring Your Adult Granddaughter to Work to Your First Day’ celebration.

Something Is About to Happen At &/or Near CI on Y&R

Billy Boy Abbott will not be having this & will yet again try to bring down Victor Newman & will likely lose yet again because The Mustache always wins. On the other hand, if Nikki Newman hasn’t already fallen off the wagon after hosting Abby Winters’ (Melissa Ordway) wedding with only endless champagne without food, she will be when Aunt Jordan’s (Colleen Zenks) wig falls off as she’s now lurking around Genoa City again on Young & the Restless in disguise. 

Something will have to give when the bumps in the Chancellor Industries road to reboot gets rocky & there are ample motivated & unemployed Genoa City residents to smooth things over.  Will Billy Boy Abbott be the Captain with recruits to right this ship?
