Katie And Johnny Come Home
Sienna Mercuri returned as Katie Abbott and Paxton Mishkind as Johnny Abbott after nearly a year away, so Billy Abbott got two of his kids at his own wedding. Victoria Newman brought the kids, which is a very civilized way to attend an ex’s big day.
Shirley Spectra Names Her Price
Patrika Darbo surprised everyone as Shirley Spectra, Sally Spectra’s Grams, who walked Sally down the aisle at the GCAC on Monday. Asked who gives this woman, Shirley answered, “Depends on the price!” and added, “He’s loaded.” That might be the most Spectra thing ever said at an altar.
Snapper Phones In With News
On the phone was Snapper (previously played by David Hasselhoff), and Billy heard from him at the reception with news about Jill Abbott. Jill sat the wedding out to wait on new tests, so the call landed with a thud in the middle of the party.
Back on screen were Lauralee Bell as Christine Blair and Michael Damian as Danny Romalotti, who had front-row seats to Phyllis Summers bragging about owning the club. Christine admitted that biting her tongue took real effort. Eileen Davidson was back as Ashley Abbott, who promised not to be the bad guy at the wedding while seeing red flags everywhere.
Jai Rodriguez was back as Pietro, in pink, fretting that the groom wasn’t dressed yet. That was Michael Nanfria playing the minister who officiated Billy and Sally’s wedding. Patty Williams remains a mystery after the car crash.
