Nikki Newman Returns to Newman Media

Young & the Restless fans have not seen the inside of Newman Media since CEO Nikki Newman trusted her friend 2nd best friend in line to Jack Abbott to run the place as she dealt with her most recent round off the wagon. Now just as Nikki is sober & ready to return to work, Victor Newman puts his foot down yet again & insists another Newman run Newman Media. Spoiler alert… It’s not his daughter Abby Newman.

Newman Media’s Revolving Door of CEOs

Newman Media under the umbrella of Newman Enterprises has had a revolving door in & out of their C-suite since it’s inception. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) started it & for now isn’t up to finishing it. For now he’s playing nice with his half-brother Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) inside the Newman Enterprises C-suite in Victoria Newman’s (Ameilia Heinle) absense to take care of her adult Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) who now works full-time during business hours.

Adam Newman isn’t interested in replacing, let alone filling in for his step mother who almost always hates him, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). However in this case, Adam Newman & Nikki Newman are on the same page, but guess who is not… The Almighty Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

What if any of the Newmans even acknoledge the Newman left out, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway). Abby has worked at Newman before & isn’t useless. As of right now, she has almlost nothing to do. Her son Dom has 2 dads & a nanny. Abby’s hired a General Manager at Society to handle the day-to-day. Otherwise, Abby is on the Jabot board & the C-W board which both rarely have board meetings. Abby might still be on the Newman Board but without Newman Enterprises holding board meetings, it cannot be confirmed.

Again, Adam Newman started it. Then he started sleeping with his #2 Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) & things went south. Things went so far south that Adam felt obligated to break Sally’s heart & her to succeed professionally as CEO of Newman Media.

That move didn’t work out for long. Adam’s brother Nick Newman was brought in to oversee Sally Spectra & that included time with her on the Newman Media couch as well. Loyal Young & the Restless fans know what happened after that. *See also: the scene for which Sally Spectra won the 2024 Daytime Emmy for Supporting Actress.

Then the newest, most beautiful & controversial business woman on Y&R, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) was seated in the CEO seat at Newman Media, thanks to her pal Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). After about 10 minutes of that, Nikki Newman was appointed CEO of Newman Media & Audra agreed to be her #2, Audra was ousted from the NM C-suite for being an overwhelming confidant for Nikki during her early stages being forced back into alcholism by her now beloved niece Claire Grace & Claire’s Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk).

Abby Newman Overlooked by Victor and Ashley

Not to beat the dead horse, but there’s nothing left to do as far as Abby is concerned & her current lack of relationship with her mother Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). Why is it that Victor Newman & along with the other Newmans continue to also keep Abby Newman out of the loop?

Is Melissa Ordway Exiting The Young and the Restless?
