Chelsea wanting to get back together with Adam after accidentally sleeping with him in Baltimore would be totally annoying on Y&R but also totally believable. However, that’s not the case. Things are the other way around, or are they?!?…

Chelsea’s Level Head & Its Expiration Date on Y&R

There was SO much Y&R speculation that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) would be all over reuniting with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) after sleeping with him that one night in Baltimore. Yes, there was alcohol, but was there really that much alcohol involved to instigate insta-sex between two previous lovers when both previous lovers were in love with someone else back in Genoa City? There’s no doubt Chelsea started it, but Adam didn’t stop it. Now Adam seems to be starting something else on Young & the Restless…

Billy Won, Chelsea Caved 1st & Would Have Sooner

It wasn’t an outright contest, but both Chelsea’s boyfriend Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) & Adam’s girlfriend Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) were competing to get their respective lovers to finally cave & level with what actually happened in Baltimore when they had hotel time taking care of their son Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) when he was being treated at that questionable OCD clinic.

Billy didn’t say it & Sally didn’t either, but they both knew deep down what most likely happened between hotel room sheets in Baltimore with Chelsea & Adam. Bill went full-court press on Chelsea & even sometimes on Adam. Sally knew but still was polite as could be & so did not want to believe what was most likely.

Had Adam Newman been making sense & been the decent man he has evolved to be, he would have come clean with Sally almost immediately after arriving back in Genoa City after that one night. Sally had just moved in with Adam & they have already been through so much. Sally was in such an understanding & supportive place, she would have understood & Adam Newman should have realized that.

Adam Newman is the reason Chelsea didn’t come clean with Billy Abbott as soon as they both should have with their respective lovers & now it’s time for him to pay.

Adam Admits Love & Loses Sally, Then Doubles Down

Is Adam Newman at a point where he cannot be alone? Does he really not love Sally & he does love Chelsea? Or, has he lost his damn mind? Chelsea is supposed to be the one in this regretful reboot making things worse, but it’s Adam. Whether Chelsea likes it or not, there is more booze in her & Adam’s future after enjoying a family night with their son Connor at Adam’s condo. Connor will catch them uncovered & there will be no other option for Chelsea to double down on Adam doubling down on her after losing Sally.
