Y&R Spoilers: Victor’s Vendetta, The Mustache Forgets Jack, Fixates on Bringing Down Billy Boy
Victor Newman shifts focus from Jack to Billy Abbott on Y&R. His Glissade scheme takes a backseat as he plots against Billy, potentially impacting multiple Genoa City relationships.
Victor Newman Forgets About Jack Abbott, Doubles Down on Billy Boy
Victor and Jack’s Forgotten Rivalry
Remember when Victor Newman was mad again at Jack Abbott? It had been a long time since these rivals clashed, but after Jack Abbott stepped in as Nikki Newman’s sponsor when she was going through her latest struggle with sobriety—and things got dicey at the GCAC—Victor Newman found reasons to make Jack pay. Currently, Victor Newman’s world revolves around taking Billy Abbott down, with anyone else caught in the crosshairs, except for Jack Abbott.
Glissade Becomes a Hobby, Jack Forgotten
Wasn’t Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) motivation in acquiring Glissade to take down Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman)? Currently, Victor has taken his chess hobby to another level, pitting his appointed Co-CEOs—Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor)—against one another.
Audra hates Kyle and wants him out. Kyle hates Audra and wants her out. At this point, Glissade might as well be a project in a high school or college business class for teenagers, as that is how Audra and Kyle are conducting themselves—with Victor Newman running the chessboard.
Taking Down Billy Boy Abbott
The Young and the Restless fans know that Victor Newman has never been a fan of Billy Boy Abbott (Jason Thompson). His hobby of belittling Billy in public and doing anything else under the sun in Genoa City has now escalated. The Mustache hasn’t mentioned Smilin’ Jack Abbott in weeks, but he’s been influencing Kyle. Victor has requested that Kyle find a method to let go of Harrison’s (Redding Munsell) nanny, Victor’s newest and eldest granddaughter Claire Grace (Hayley Erin). Victor Newman is so busy bringing down Billy Boy that he doesn’t know Kyle and Claire have become closer—which means The Mustache is closer to becoming a great-grandpa. Will Kyle Abbott getting involved with Claire remind Victor Newman of Jack Abbott and his latest vendetta?
Victor Pawns His Pawns, Returns Focus to Jack
Regardless of whether Billy Abbott beats Victor Newman, Victor’s efforts to acquire Chancellor Industries will cause problems with his wife Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and will eliminate any respect Lily Winters has for him. Nikki has been promised the CEO position at Chancellor Industries, and so has Lily. The Young and the Restless fans have had enough of Co-CEOs all over Genoa City. Let Billy Boy win this one, and let Victor be taken down a notch or two. Lily Winters can return to Winters, and Nikki can resume planning key events in Genoa City as she used to.
Victor Newman doesn’t trust Audra or Kyle and never has. These two pawns might as well play rock-paper-scissors, and the loser can get out of Glissade as fast as they can. Audra can go work with Billy and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) at Abbott Chancellor, and Kyle can whine his way back to Jabot.
Potential Outcomes in Genoa City
Perhaps Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) can return to take back Glissade and clobber both The Mustache and Smilin’ Jack Abbott in the process.
