Kyle & Audra’s Growing Tension

This week on Young & the Restless, Kyle Abbott is back & he’s still an entitled well-dressed brat. It didn’t take Kyle a moment to insert himself into Audra & Nate’s date at the GCAC after their last “romp.” Just as Kyle attempts to lay into Audra, his nanny crush Claire Grace shows up & observes. Nate steps aside so Audra & Kyle can “do business” & chats up Claire attempting to watch out for her. Have Young & the Restless fans just seen this movie? Will Nate & Claire be the next Billy & Sally?

Parallels to Adam & Chelsea

Although not nearly as substantial, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) & Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) have a history & that is Colleagues with Benefits. Now Audra & Kyle find themselves official colleagues working for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) at Glissade) without any benefits, but for how long? Audra & Kyle still have at least a minor level of sexual tension & they are both very intense working for a common goal.

Somewhat similar to Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) & Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Their history is substantially more complicated but they were forced to work together to support their son Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) with his OCD diagnosis & everything that came with it, including allowing their hidden away sexual tension to take control.

Nate & Claire’s Potential Connection

How will Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) & Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) react as Audra & Kyle are forced to spend more & more time together & sometimes later at night doing their best to outsmart one another over cocktails?

Claire’s soon-to-be boyfriend Kyle Abbott is drawn to spend more time with Audra Charles because of their common goal. In their case, it’s who can take out the other at Glissade first. Now, all of a sudden, Claire & Nate can compare notes & confide in one another just as Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) & Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) did when Chelsea & Adam came together to support their son in Baltimore.

History Repeating Itself?

At first glance, pending revenge sex between Claire & Nate does not seem like an obvious option at all as it seems Young & the Restless fans are just November sweeps episodes from Sally & Billy enjoying some revenge sex of their own, or does it?

Before Claire Grace tried to kill the Newman family & she was working at Newman Media alongside Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), she ran into Nate Hastings here & there at the elevator inside Newman Tower who was working for & dating her mother Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Claire did not double down at all on hitting on Nate, but she did nudge & she was happy with the exchange.

Future Possibilities

Could there be chemistry between Victoria’s daughter & Victoria’s ex? Anything can happen on Young & the Restless.
