Nothing Phyllis Summers does is good enough for her daughter Summer or her son Daniel ever. Well, at least since she faked her death, but still. Phyllis hasn’t been working for months & hasn’t yet completed any of her community service hours after faking her death & killing Jeremy Stark. Now that she’s found gainful employment, albeit with Billy Abbott, her children are still not happy. Can Phyllis get even a bit of leniency from her children ever?!?

Too Quick to Judge Phyllis, Super Powers Needed ASAP

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) finally has a purpose to get up in the morning other than being the best-dressed pot stirrer all over Genoa City without a job. She now has a job! Phyllis is a COO without a “Co” in front of it which is very rare in Genoa City right now. For the last few years Genoa City has been the business home base of Co-CEOs & Co-COOs. Congrats to Phyllis Summers for breaking the mold. Also, who better in GC on Young the Restless?

Not-so-shocking… Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) & Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) have concerns. These two grown children always have concerns about Phyllis & it’s getting old. Phyllis is finally doing something constructive that may even lead her to being out of their hair. Let’s give it a try…

Daniel & Summer’s main concern with Phyllis’ new COO position is at Abbott Chancellor working for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) & they have a history. They have a history… Really?!? Everyone in Genoa City has a history. Perhaps Summer Newman should review her history sleeping with her mother’s ex-boyfriend Billy Abbott. Sure, Billy Boy didn’t turn Summer down but Summer totally instigated the whole damn thing.

Phyllis Summer’s willingness to color outside the lines while staying in her fast lane with a side of controversial computer cadence is exactly what Billy needs at Abbott Chancellor, & likely what Daniel & his family will need once Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) has been gone for too long.

Phyllis to Fill in for the Defunded GCPD on Y&R

If the Genoa City Police Department hasn’t been defunded it sure seems like it. Even Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) could have stepped up to help a former lover such as Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) who has been unraveling before everyone’s eyes in GC. After all, Chance dropped working with Billy Abbott to revisit working in law enforcement. How about him offering to ping a phone?

Once Phyllis is brought up to speed on “Heather leaving Genoa City to get away from Sharon,” she will immediately know that something isn’t right & will want to do everything in her power Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) style to protect her family & get to the very bottom of what is going on.

Somehow between Sharon accidently killing Heather & wrapping her up to drop in the river she was able to make a few edits to her phone so she is able to get into her phone & no one is able to find it or ping it. Sharon Newman better think again. If she is able to wrap up Heather, carry her downstairs, put her in her trunk, & finally dump her in the river, it’s realistic on Young & the Restless that Phyllis will successfully ping Heather’s phone & that ping will be pung to Sharon Newman’s home on the Newman Ranch on Y&R.
