Summer’s Confidence in Custody Battle

Y&R’s Summer Newman is confident about her efforts to be awarded sole custody of her non-biological son Harrison & has her grandfather Victor Newman in her back pocket if/when she needs backup. Summer’s brother Daniel isn’t impressed, but her boyfriend Chance Chancellor could not be more supportive. Chance doesn’t know, however, that he’s about to lose his non-biological son & it’s more realistic that Summer loses Harrison than anyone in her support system realizes.

Chance Chancellor As Out of the Loop as Abby Newman

Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) has been busy being busy for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) at Abbott Chancellor. Chance has also been busy being supportive of his girlfriend Summer Newman’s (Allison Lanier) challenges with her ex-husband Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) & the custody of their son Harrison (Redding Munsell).

Summer’s supportive boyfriend Chance Chancellor doesn’t touch the fact that Summer is not Harrison’s biological mother & rarely talks about raising his son Dominic who he also does not have a biological connection. As much as Chance’s ex-wife Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) has no idea that their sperm donor Devon Hamilton now Winter (Bryton James) marriage proposal is all business, Chance Chancellor has no idea that this proposal occurred & he’s about to lose his boy simultaneously as his girlfriend will be losing her non-bio-boy.

Summer & Chance Lose & Then Reproduce on Y&R

Summer Newman is bound to not win sole custody of Harrison even if she calls in her grandfather to do almost everything in his power to protect his family, The Almighty Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Despite being in & out of the Chancellor Winters C-suite that is being separated as Y&R fans watch, Chance Chancellor has no idea that his sperm donor Devon has proposed marriage to his ex-wife Abby.

Chance’s Connection with Dominic

Chance Chancellor has had trouble connecting to Dominic with Dominic since he was born via he & Abby’s surrogate Mariah Copeland (Mariah Copeland). Young & the Restless fans have not been let into Chance spending time with Dominic since he moved out of the Chancellor Estate & Abby, Devon, & Dominic moved in.

Future Possibilities for Summer and Chance

Will Chance Chancellor roll back his role with Dominic to “Uncle” &/or Godfather?? If he does, will he encourage Summer Newman to take a similar approach with Harrison?

What if Chance & Summer have their own baby? Chance Chancellor supposedly cannot impregnate women, but anything can happen anytime on Young & the Restless.
