Abby & Devon’s wedding is just one month away & the time is now to break them up & there is still hope for Young & the Restless fans. The make-believe wedding venue that was never talked about in front of Y&R fans until just now all of a sudden has structural issues & cannot be used. Abby’s daddy Victor Newman has a secret venue he guarantees will work as a backup to celebrate her wedding, her birthday, & her mother Ashley Abbott returns from Paris with at least 2-3 fewer personalities than she left with. However, there is still enough time before the buzzer for what Victor has been doing to Devon’s sister Lily for this wedding to be called off.

Victor Reboots the Newman Palazzo in Tuscany

If rebooting the Newman Palazzo in Tuscany for his daughter Abby Newman’s (Melissa Ordway) & Devon Winters’ (Bryton James) wedding, is not Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) plan, it should be. Not only are Abby & Devon planning on getting married on Abby’s birthday but Abby’s mother Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is on pace to be discharged from her in-patient care in Paris. Abby Newman is planning on a full-fledged princess day but because she is out of the Newman family drama loop yet again, she has no idea what’s coming.

Surprisingly, Devon has been onto Victor Newman’s plans for Chancellor Industries for weeks. Young & the Restless fans finally got to hear something intelligent & not entirely self-centered come out of his mouth. Now as Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) just learned & will soon confirm with Devon, Victor & Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) had never planned for Lily to be reinstated as CEO at Chancellor Industries but to take on an executive role that would be a demotion that Lily is not excited about at all. In fact, Lily is now claiming she’s done with both Nikki & Victor. Devon will want to be done with Victor also unless Victor pulls something out for his youngest princess.

Abby Forgets About Her House & Her Mother’s House

Abby’s mother Ashley Abbott got married inside the Chancellor Estate, so why can’t she? Granted Ashley’s marriage to Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) didn’t last much longer than the ceremony itself, it was a nice event. Abby’s Uncle Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) & his wife Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) recently celebrated their marriage in the Abbott backyard which was unnecessary but lovely. Not long before that celebration Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) & Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor renewed their vows also in the Abbott backyard. Their vow renewal lasted almost as long as the short time Tucker McCall was in Genoa City after landing via helicopter at the event. So, why hasn’t either the Chancellor & Abbott Estates been considered for Abby & Devon’s wedding? Is Victor Newman controlling the wedding venue for Abby without her having a clue?

There’s no doubt that Victor Newman would not his daughter to be married at the Abbott Estate. Meanwhile, Victor has a low-key hostile takeover going on with Chancellor Industries. With how things are shaking out with Abby’s soon-to-be sister-in-law Lily Winters with her father Victor, Victor best not be planning on hosting Abby’s wedding at the Newman Ranch. Victor Newman better be doing everything in his power to make Abby & Devon’s wedding at the Newman Palazzo in Tuscany as he did for his daughter Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).

Just One Month to Pass On Another Failed Marriage

It’s ridiculous that Abby Newman is marrying her sperm donor & they are living together with their biological son inside her ex-husband Chance Chancellor’s (Connor Floyd) family home. Fun Abby Newman has been MIA since she entered into a relationship with Devon. Also, since her son was born she has been 110% out of the loop regarding anything Newman or Abbott related.

Devon’s Control Issues

Devon Winters is only about Devon but does play it well otherwise to Abby Newman. It’s all about control & Abby is out of the loop on this fact as well. Devon had baby Dominic’s changed to include Winters & then changed his last name from Hamilton to Winters. There’s no doubt Devon will not like at all what Victor is in the process of doing to his sister Lily & rightfully so. However, is Devon that much better with his methods & his madness than The Mustache on Young & the Restless?
