Alan’s Red Flags Flag Everyone but Aunt Traci on Y&R

Dr. Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) has been putting up red flags left & right since his identical twin brother who he never mentioned before supposedly died tragically & Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) is smitten. Every Y&R fan’s favorite Aunt Traci wants her to be happy, however, fans are divided on whether Traci is spending time with Dr. Alan, or his supposedly deceased identical twin brother Martin (Christopher Cousins).

Regardless, this isn’t the first time Young & the Restless has done the identical twin thing. Camryn Grimes has doubled down as Cassie Newman & Mariah Copeland & Mishael Morgan doubling down as Hillary Curtis & Amanda Sinclair most recently on Y&R.

In the case of Alan & Martin, will Traci or Young & the Restless confirm first who is who?

Traci’s Book to Movie Deal in L.A.: Made Up by a Laurent

How lovely, during Traci’s time in Paris to support her sister Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) while she’s in in-patient care to address her multiple personalities & the trauma that created them, she receives a call from Los Angeles to turn one of her novels into a movie. This development occurred just as Dr. Alan canceled his speaking engagements to spend as much time as possible with her in Paris. Again, lovely… Traci invited Alan along to L.A. & he managed to pack his bag in short order with Traci already being packed & on her way to the airport. In fact, when Traci let Alan know that her trip would include a stop in Genoa City to check on the other Abbott’s he packed his suitcase even faster.

Now Traci Abbott’s novel-movie deal is off the table as whoever she was working with in L.A. demanded too many changes that Traci was not comfortable with. Traci should get comfortable again because Alan isn’t Alan, he’s Martin on Y&R… & Martin likely manufactured this missed opportunity with Traci for his benefit.

Ashley Abbott In-patient, Recommended by Alan or Martin?

Almost as much as Alan’s immediate infatuation with Ashley’s sister Traci Abbott, Dr. Alan had the perfect in-patient clinic for Ashley Abbott just outside of Paris. Alan, or Martin… Whichever twin is alive just revealed that Ashley is improving every day & will be ready to return to Genoa City & will be able to have out-patient care once she settles in back home. Before Alan’s brother Martin supposedly died, Alan advised Traci that Ashley’s therapy would include digging deep into her childhood to find the triggers that helped to create her recent multiple personalities.

What happened to this step in Ashley’s recovery? Ashley Abbott doesn’t have anyone close to her in Paris as she was advised she would go through these hardships. Something smells on Young & the Restless & it smells like Martin Laurent isn’t really dead & is already wreaking havoc on the Abbott’s. Martin’s endgame, however, is still a mystery on Young & the Restless.
