Like it or not, CBS is running episodes 1-5 of Beyond the Gates, which originally began on February 24, 2025. With the sneak peeks last Friday, many BTG fans are not liking the reboot. Alternatively, what a great way to expand this soap opera’s fan base & see what viewers from day one missed.
Jacob & Naomi Get Down, Pink-Fluffy Handcuffs MIA…
Beyond the Gates married couple Jacob Hawthorne & Naomi Hamilton (Jibre Hordges & Arielle Prepetit) just had more sex today on today’s replay of this show’s series opener than they have had since, & why? They are HOT! Yes, this detective & attorney hot couple have had some airtime in bed since the show’s launch in February 2025, but nothing like during the series opener. Also, what happened to the pink-pink handcuffs Naomi got for the both of them, packaged in a sweet little gift bag?
Jacob & Naomi certainly have not been in hiding, but their sex life has. There is speculation on social media that Jacob & Naomi’s cousin Kat Richardson (Colby Muhammad) are vibing & lines might be crossed coming soon with their work together trying to take down Leslie/Dana/Sherry Thomasm (Trisha Mann-Grant).
Will Jacob Hawthorne be the next man to cheat his way to another divorce from a Dupree woman on Beyond the Gates?
Beyond the Gates Fans Get Verified, Ashley is a Dud
Yes, from the get-go, Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob) is a dud. What is her freaking point when we have Nurse Shanice (Ernestine Johnson). If there was a nurse to be debuted on episode one, it should have been Nurse Shanice. Be patient, new Beyond the Gates viewers, she’s worth it.
Ashley is boring, annoying, & needy. However, for new BTG fans, there is hope for her now ex-boyfriend, Firefighter Derek Baldwin (Ben Gavin). He had been as boring as the day is long, but now that he’s separated from who he called ‘Nurse Perfect,’ he has a little spice.
Hopefully, Firefighter Derek finds another lady to spice up soon on Beyond the Gates.
The Fairmont Crest Country Club, Everything Expensive but Golf.
There are golf carts available at the entry of the Fairmont Crest Country Club on the perfectly manicured lawn, but none of them have been used yet. Everything is only elegant at the club, but none of Fairmont Crest’s finest have been golfing. In addition, none of them have even hijacked a cart to get away from a dicey situation, which new Beyond the Gates fans will see are frequent.
Between Bill Hamilton’s (Timon Kyle Durret) wife #1, Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) & wife #2, Hayley Hamilton (Marquita Goings), one of them had to have had an itch at least once to bolt to club to hit up the other wife’s house to be up to no good.
New Beyond the Gates viewers haven’t missed any golfing, but they have missed a bunch of fast & fresh daytime drama. Welcome, new fans. It’s about to get really, really good.
