BTG Weekly Spoilers April 20-24: Someone Gets Stabbed, Martin Richardson’s Skeletons Start Rattling, and Nobody in Fairmont Crest Is Safe This Week

MARTIN RICHARDSON HAS SECRETS AND WEDNESDAY HAS A KNIFE

TL;DR: Beyond the Gates spoilers for the week of April 20 are stacked. Someone gets stabbed on Wednesday, Martin Richardson confides in Vernon that his past could destroy his political career, Hayley Lawson is scrambling to cover her tracks before Bill Hamilton finds out something that puts her directly in the hot seat, and by Friday Nicole Dupree Richardson and Carlton Fitzgerald reconcile only for Kial Rollins to show up at the worst possible moment.

This Week in Fairmont Crest

Martin Richardson has been building toward a political career with security teams and campaign managers, but this week the man with the plan will sit down with Vernon Dupree and admit that his past could burn every bit of it to the ground. Martin will spend Tuesday confessing his fears, Wednesday trying to get Nicole Dupree Richardson on board with something she clearly does not trust, and by Thursday Joey Armstrong will witness an argument and swoop in with an offer that Martin will have to seriously consider. The Richardson political machine is revving up and it already has cracks in the engine.

Meanwhile, Hayley Lawson will spend Tuesday wiping her fingerprints off whatever mess Lynette dragged her into, but by Wednesday Bill Hamilton will learn something that puts his wife squarely in the hot seat. And by Friday, Chelsea Hamilton will go directly to her father and start asking questions about Hayley that nobody in that household wants answered.

Oh, and someone gets stabbed on Wednesday. Fairmont Crest does not do quiet weeks.

Monday, April 20

Dani Dupree will get in Andre Richardson‘s face about his run in with Bill, and given how protective Dani has been of her family lately, Andre better come with answers. Chelsea will turn down an offer from her mother, which tells you everything about where Chelsea’s head is right now when it comes to Hayley. Leslie Thomas and Vanessa McBride will find unexpected common ground, and those two bonding is the kind of alliance nobody saw coming. Smitty Smith will bring a new lead to Jacob Hawthorne, and after everything Smitty pulled last week breaking into Nicole’s office, this lead better be worth the risk. And Derek Baldwin and Ashley Morgan will have a heated exchange about Grayson Perez, the same man who handed Ashley a red rose at the hospital last week while Derek apparently has opinions about it.

Tuesday, April 21

Nicole will seek out Joey for a tense face to face, and given their disastrous double date history, this conversation is going to have teeth. Martin Richardson will confide in Vernon that his past could torpedo his political future, and Vernon Dupree hearing that his son in law has skeletons is going to make for one loaded conversation. Tomas Navarrowill get new intel on Lynette Wise, and since Bill tasked him with investigating her after ripping up his resignation letter, Tomas is officially on the case. And Hayley will cover her tracks, which means whatever she did, she knows it is about to surface.

Wednesday, April 22

Someone gets stabbed. That is the logline. Someone in Fairmont Crest will be on the wrong end of a blade and CBS is not telling us who. Martin Richardson will update a wary Nicole, and that word “wary” is doing heavy lifting because Nicole’s instincts are rarely wrong. Bill will learn something disturbing that puts Hayley directly in the hot seat, and given that Tomas is now digging into Lynette and Hayley spent Tuesday covering her tracks, the walls are closing in fast. Tomas will romance Kat Richardson, which is a welcome breather in the middle of all this chaos. And Shanice Johnson and Ted Richardson will have an honest conversation about their evolving relationship.

Thursday, April 23

Joey will witness an argument and then turn around and make Martin an offer, and Joey Armstrong inserting himself into Martin Richardson’s political orbit is the kind of move that could go sideways fast. Vernon will get an important update from Madison Montgomery. Anita Dupree will get a surprise visit from Vanessa, and given that Leslie and Vanessa bonded on Monday, Vanessa making her way to the Dupree matriarch’s door by Thursday is interesting. Ashley will find herself stuck between a rock and a hard place, and with Derek and Grayson both in her ear, that tracks. And Ren Tolliver will deliver news that sends Jacob and Smitty into a full panic.

Friday, April 24

Chelsea will question Bill about Hayley, and after Bill learned something disturbing on Wednesday, Chelsea going to her father for answers on Friday means this family is headed for a reckoning. Dani and Naomi Hamilton Hawthornewill comfort each other, and those two leaning on each other always means something heavy is happening. Jan Morgan‘s presence will stress Ashley out, and Ashley’s week is going from bad to worse. Nicole and Carlton Fitzgeraldwill reconcile just as Kial Rollins swings by, and that timing is the kind of soapy chaos Fairmont Crest was built for. And Vanessa will make herself right at home in Joey’s condo, which means the woman who started the week bonding with Leslie is ending it moving in on Joey’s territory.
