Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Kristen DiMera Exit Unravels as EJ Ships Her to the Island
The Kristen DiMera exit is a storyline break, not a death. EJ preps the island, her crate swap fails, and Haiduk airs into November.

KRISTEN DIMERA IS NOT DYING IN THAT SHIPPING CONTAINER
TL;DR: EJ has a shipping container and a private island waiting for Kristen, and the swap she cooked up is already set to fail. The exile is a storyline reset, not a body bag. Stacy Haiduk keeps airing as Kristen into November on Days of Our Lives.
EJ Books A One Way Trip To DiMera Island
The Kristen DiMera exit chatter running all month gets the ending badly wrong, because nobody is killing her off. On Days of Our Lives, EJ DiMera has already told his assistant to fuel the family jet and open up the DiMera island, and he means to leave his sister out there permanently. No trial, no lawyer, no return flight. Kristen has exactly one move left, and it is a swap.
Here is the arrangement she pitched on the July 21 episode. Lexie Carver is terminally ill and running out of time, and Kristen asked her to climb into the shipping container in her place. The staff waiting on the island were told to expect EJ’s sister. Nobody thought to specify which one.
It is a very DiMera answer to a very DiMera problem, cold and completely without conscience, and it is the sort of long game this family has been playing since Stefano was still breathing. Kristen believes she can talk her way out of anything, and for decades she has been mostly right about that. If you want the wider spread of Salem coverage while this one detonates, our Salem story tracker is keeping pace with it. What she did not price in is that EJ stopped negotiating weeks ago.

The Container Swap Is Already Set To Fail
Circulating spoiler chatter for the week of July 27 has the swap coming apart, with Kristen the one at real risk of riding that container out to open water. Brady Black is already suspicious, because the goodbye Kristen gave Rachel Black at Bayview landed like a farewell rather than a visit. We flagged the shape of all this back when EJ started prepping the island, and every piece has tightened since. Kristen DiMera has spent this year making enemies of the two men who know her best, and both of them are closing in at once.
Rachel is being discharged and coming home, which is the cruelest possible timing. The girl finally gets out and her mother is in a crate. Whatever EJ tells himself about protecting the family name, he is about to take a child’s mother off the board in the same week that child comes home.
Is Kristen DiMera Leaving Days of Our Lives?
No, Kristen DiMera is not leaving Days of Our Lives, and the actress playing her has said so herself. Stacy Haiduk has put her own timeline on the record, telling the soap press she is “airing pretty much all the way up until I think November.” That one line is the piece nobody is holding up against the container story, and it reframes the whole thing. A character written toward a November runway has story left to burn, not a quiet disposal in a crate at sea.
What A November Runway Buys This Story
Reading between the lines, that container is transport and nothing more. My gut tells me it gets opened by somebody who is not on EJ’s payroll, and that the name which finally breaks him is Sophia Choi. Sophia remains presumed dead and nothing firmer than that, because no body was ever recovered from the river. Don’t be surprised if the woman Kristen DiMera put in that water turns up breathing, right at the moment Kristen is boxed up and unable to defend herself.
There is a second reason the island reads as a gift rather than a grave. Isolation hands a schemer time and a staff to turn, and Kristen has flipped better people than a few hired hands on a payroll. If I know these writers, she comes back off that rock knowing something about the drug cover-up that EJ would kill to keep buried.
Leave your prediction on this one and tell me whether Kristen ever sets foot on that island at all.

The Crate Is Theater And Kristen Knows It
EJ thinks he has solved his sister problem with a padlock and a stretch of ocean. What he has actually handed the most resourceful woman in Salem is a locked room and a very long runway.
My money says Kristen steps off that island holding leverage on every DiMera still standing, and EJ spends his autumn wishing he had simply let her drive out of town. Pick your side and bring receipts to our Facebook page, where the argument is already running hot.
