Days of Our Lives Recap: Marlena Evans Finally Calls Dominic Marino

The Days of Our Lives recap October 27, 2026 belongs to a phone call. Every preview said Marlena Evans would hesitate. She did, and then she dialed.

Marlena went to the Pub to think over the number Sydney handed her on Monday. When Tate Black walked in with news that Joy told him she is regaining feeling, Marlena’s congratulations barely registered. She told him about Xander with her mind somewhere else.

At home, she called Dominic Marino. It went to voicemail, and she heard his voice on the greeting.

Her message was short: “Dominic. It’s Marlena Evans. I think we need to talk.”

We broke down when Dominic Marino debuts, and now the man on that birth certificate has her voice on his phone before anyone in Salem has seen his face.

Days of Our Lives Recap: Kristen DiMera Tells Lani Everything

Kristen DiMera tried to slip across the square unnoticed. Lani Price chased her down with a Sweet Bits receipt as her excuse, because she had recognized her. Kristen pulled her into the park and said she has one loose end to tie up before she leaves town.

Then she told Lani the whole story, and Lani was horrified by Kristen’s murder attempts. “I don’t even know what to say,” Lani said. She pointed out that she has not taken the oath yet, so she has no duty to report her. Kristen asked about the family and said she wishes she could go to Lexie’s memorial. Lani told her that would be a bad idea, called her “my girl,” and the two said a heartfelt goodbye.

Days of Our Lives Recap: Maggie Kiriakis Forgives Xander

Xander Kiriakis is still unconscious, and the family took turns at his side. Philip Kiriakis went first. He told his brother he never had a better friend, begged him to open his eyes, and said Sarah and Xander are meant to be together.

Maggie had called Gabi Hernandez to the hospital. She thanked Gabi for helping save Titan and said she is happy the two of them are back together. Gabi promised to keep an eye on Philip and his history with gambling.

Then Maggie Kiriakis sat with Xander. She said she can never thank him enough for saving Sarah’s life, that Victor would be proud of the man he has become, and that Victoria and Sarah need him to wake up. Then she told him she forgives everything he has done. Back at the mansion, Philip broke down and told Gabi he loves Xander and cannot live without him.

A Helpline Caller Sounds Just Like Sophia

Holly Jonas watched Mason Whitfield take a helpline call. The caller said her name was Amelia, but she sounded exactly like Sophia Choi, who has been living under that name. She said she saw her mother, felt some closure, and hung up. Mason admitted he thought he heard Sophia in the park, Holly admitted she sees her everywhere, and they blamed it on “Sophia Brain.”

Tate was not happy to catch Holly leaving Mason’s room, even after she called it a training session. When he told her about Xander, she rushed to the hospital, and he drove her.
