For a long time they were there for each other.

Dimitri needed a wife to claim his family’s inheritance. He married Gwen. Who didn’t know Dimitri was gay and was sleeping with Leo behind her back. Leo knew exactly what he was doing. Gwen left Salem, took Dimitri’s fortune with her, and spent years living large on stolen money in Alamainia. Leo was left with nothing.

Gwen Came Back to Salem and Made Sure Leo Paid for It

Gwen returned to Salem in 2025 wealthy, vindictive, and determined to make Leo’s life miserable. She wasted no time telling Javi Hernandez every ugly detail about Leo’s past. The news hit Javi hard. And then Gwen brought Dimitri back to Salem and dropped him right into the middle of Leo and Javi’s wedding.

Javi told Leo to sort out his lingering feelings for Dimitri before making their marriage official. Then Javi left Salem. Leo went to Alamainia with Dimitri to try to clear his name. Then Javi found out Leo was with Dimitri and ended things for good. Leo is back in Salem alone, with the kind of heartbreak that comes from losing someone because the person you hurt the most made sure you would.

Monday Leo Opened Up to Marlena and Wednesday He Will Face Gwen

On Monday, Leo opened up to Marlena Evans about being caught between Dimitri and Javi. And Marlena, who has become one of Leo’s few genuine connections in Salem, listened. Leo Stark has been in therapy, doing the work, trying to be a better person. Marlena sees growth in him.

But Gwen does not see growth. Gwen sees the man who ruined her marriage. And on Wednesday, these two are going to be in the same room trading insults because that is what Leo and Gwen do when they cannot bring themselves to say what they actually mean.
