Days Of Our Lives
“Just Get On The Bus Gus?!” How Will Leo Stark React to Javi Hernandez Parading His Hot New Boyfriend All Over DAYS?
Leo Stark finally chose Javi, and then Javi turned up with a brand new boyfriend named Gus. We cannot picture Leo taking that one quietly.

LEO STARK COULD TORCH SALEM TO KEEP JAVI FROM GUS
TL;DR: Leo Stark spent months losing Javi, finally figured out Javi was the one he wanted, and got ready to win him back. Then Javi dropped a boyfriend named Gus on him. On Days of Our Lives, Javi is bringing his new man to Salem and next week, he runs into Leo on his way to meet Gus. Somehow, we can’t imagine Leo handling that with grace. Doubling down, butting in, or full sabotage mode, Leo is gearing up to make this everyone’s problem.
Let’s Review Leo’s Year So Far
Leo Stark has had a year. He married Javi Hernandez on New Year’s Eve in a ceremony Marlena Evans herself officiated, then watched the whole thing implode before the marriage certificate was even filed, because his ex Dimitri Von Leuschner strolled back into Salem on the wedding day like a man who reads minds and hates joy. Javi, furious that Leo could not shut the Dimitri door, pushed him away, told him to go sort out his feelings, and left town to care for his ailing father.
So Leo did the work. He sat with Marlena. He wrote his feelings down on actual paper. He realized, finally, that Javi was the one he wanted and Dimitri was not. He got himself ready to fight for the man he loves. And the second he was ready, Javi announced he had reunited with someone in his past. His name is Gus, he hits Days of Our Lives next week, and he’s played by talented and handsome Michael Ocampo.

The Run In Leo Did Not See Coming
Here is the part the spoilers have already confirmed. On Thursday, Javi is on his way to meet up with Gus when he runs straight into Leo. Because of course he does. Everybody meets everybody they don’t want to see in the Square.
Leo tried to find Gus on social media and failed but now, he’ll realize Gus is real, Gus is here, and Javi is walking toward him with a spring in his step. Whatever composure Leo built in therapy is going to be tested in the worst possible public setting, and Leo Stark has never once chosen composure when chaos was an option.
Doubling Down, Tripling Down, Down to the Core of the Earth
So what does Leo do with this? Option one is the obvious one. He doubles down. He decides the Gus situation is a temporary detour and that all he has to do is remind Javi of everything they were. Expect grand gestures. Expect Leo turning up everywhere Javi happens to be. Expect a heartfelt monologue or six about New Year’s Eve and the vows and the love that was real.
Option two is messier and far more Leo. He inserts himself directly into the new romance. He befriends Gus to keep tabs. He volunteers to help with something purely to stay in the orbit. He becomes the most attentive third wheel Salem has ever produced, all wide eyes and innocent intentions while quietly cataloguing every flaw he can file away for later.
Or He Goes Full Leo and Burns It Down Quietly
And then there is the truly diabolical option, the one longtime viewers know is always on the table. Leo does not fight fair. He goes digging. And he is, after all, a professional gossipmonger. If anyone can find dirt, it’s Leo. And if he can’t find it, he may choose to embellish. After all, Gus arrived in Salem with no known history, and nobody in this town arrives out of nowhere without a secret worth excavating. Imagine Leo deciding the fastest route back to Javi is not winning Javi over at all but quietly dismantling Gus from behind the scenes.
A little snooping. A convenient discovery. A truth about Gus that Leo happens to surface at the most damaging possible moment. Leo would tell himself he is protecting Javi. He would absolutely be protecting Leo. And if Dimitri catches wind that Leo is scheming this hard to keep Javi, the triangle that supposedly ended comes roaring right back to life.
Whatever Leo chooses, the man does not have a quiet setting. Gus walked into Salem thinking he was starting a sweet new chapter with Javi. He has no idea that you do not casually date Leo’s (almost) husband without consequences.
Leo has lost Javi to Dimitri once already, and now there is a brand new man in the picture. Is Leo right to fight for the love he finally figured out, or does Javi deserve a clean fresh start with Gus? And be honest, are you still rooting for Leo and Javi or have you quietly switched teams? Sound off below!

Feel sorry for Paulina. She tried to hide the fact that Lexie was in the pod. She didn’t want to jeopardize her love of Abe. I can’t believe Abe didn’t even stop Paulina from leaving their apartment.
