Days Of Our Lives
DAYS WILD SPECULATION! Sophia Choi Is Faking Her Own Death and Setting Holly Jonas Up to Take the Fall for the Crime of the Century?!
Sophia Choi is baiting Holly Jonas online and setting the stage for the most diabolical frame job Salem has seen since Kristen wore a habit.

SOPHIA CHOI IS BAITING HOLLY JONAS INTO A FATAL TRAP
TL;DR: Sophia Choi has spent weeks priming Salem to believe Holly Jonas wished her dead, and now she has built a fake online persona to bait Holly into a public confession on Days of Our Lives. When Sophia disappears on Friday, every digital crumb will lead straight to Holly.
The Setup Has Been Sitting in Plain Sight
Sophia Choi has been telling anyone who will sit still long enough that Holly Jonas wished her dead. She has worked the line into conversations like seasoning. Salem heard it. Salem filed it away. And now Sophia is ready to graduate that whisper into a full courtroom level receipt that nobody will be able to argue with later.
The latest Days spoilers say Sophia baits Holly this week. Bait is not an accident. Bait is a strategy. Bait means there is a hook attached, a current already running, and somebody is meant to be reeled in. The fish in this metaphor is Holly Jonas, and Sophia has been chumming the water for months.
Think about everything Sophia has been quietly building. The lost baby that was never really hers. The sympathy votes from half of Salem after the storyline she sold them. The teary lunches with classmates. Every single conversation has been a deposit in a bank account she always intended to drain.

The Diabolical Pivot to Catfishing in Plain Sight
Sophia logged on, built a fake online handle, and started posting cruel commentary about herself. As she typed, she muttered the most incriminating line in town. I hope they take the bait. They did. Within minutes the trap was full of teenage girls swinging keyboards.
Arianna Horton showed up swinging first, calling Sophia every name short of a full felony charge. Six girls piled on behind her in rapid succession. Then Holly arrived and posted that Sophia drugged her. Holly hit publish on the kind of accusation that does not get walked back, on a thread that Sophia Choi herself farmed into existence with her own diabolical fingertips.
That post is now sitting on a server somewhere with a timestamp, a screenshot opportunity, and Holly Jonas’s name attached to it in permanent digital ink. Sophia did not need a real confession out of Holly. She manufactured one. And the intended audience for that manufactured confession is Salem PD when the time comes for them to draw a tidy line from accuser to murderer.
Kristen DiMera Is Holding the Detonation Device
Kristen DiMera has been recruiting Sophia Choi for something deeply diabolical for weeks now. The unthinkable involves Johnny DiMera and a level of damage Salem has not survived in years. Sophia struck her own bargain on the side of Kristen’s bigger play. She wants Holly destroyed in exchange for her cooperation, and Kristen has handed her the playbook, the green light, and probably an unmarked vehicle parked discreetly behind the pier.
This week, Kristen pushes Sophia to take action. So Sophia is going to take action. The only question is what action looks like when the playbook was written by the woman who once impersonated a nun and stole a baby out of a hospital nursery. Sophia has been studying at the feet of a master.
The Fake Death Frame and the Pink Slip Receipts
Now picture the Friday cliffhanger. Sophia is gone. Brady and Jada are tearing the city apart looking for her. There is a forum thread serving as the digital paper trail, and the last public message in it is Holly accusing Sophia of drugging her, posted hours before Sophia vanished. There may be a missing handbag, a smear of fake blood on the rocks at the pier, a single shoe left in convenient view of a dog walker, a torn piece of the jacket Holly was wearing. Salem reads all of that and decides Holly snapped.
Here is the part that makes this theory feel inevitable. The actors playing Holly AND Tate Black were given pink slips right after Christmas. So was Carson Boatman. So was Raven Bowens. Four legacy exits are coming, and the writers need a story big enough to carry all four off the canvas without insulting the audience. A Choi-shaped frame job that runs Holly out of Salem under a cloud of suspicion for murder, with Tate chasing after her into the sunset, is exactly the kind of operatic exit DAYS loves to deliver.
