LOCKED AND LOADED! GH’s Anna Devane Sets a Trap for Britt Westbourne After Perfecting Her Aim at the Range
Anna Devane lured Britt Westbourne into a trap on GH, right after perfecting her aim at the range and hearing a dead man’s orders.
SHE HAS BEEN HEARING FAISON’S SON IN HER HEAD, AND HE WANTS BRITT DEAD
Anna Devane called Britt Westbourne with a fake lead and a meeting location, right after admiring her own perfect aim at the range. On General Hospital, that is not a coincidence.
A Shooting Range, a Ghost, and a Call to Britt Westbourne
On August 25, the wretched specter of Peter told Anna Devane that the only way for her to find peace was to kill Britt Westbourne, and if anyone tried to stop her, to kill them too. A week later, on September 2, Anna sat calmly across from Valentin Cassadine at a shooting range, proving her aim was as sharp as ever, and named exactly two people who might be following in Cesar Faison‘s footsteps: Cassius Faison and Britt. Minutes after that conversation, she called Britt with a fabricated story about a source on Cassius, promising a meeting location soon, all while admiring the near-perfect bullet holes in the paper silhouette she’d used for practice.
That is not a coincidence, that is a setup. Anna did not need to lie about a Cassius lead to talk to Britt, the two of them cross paths constantly in Port Charles. She needed a pretext private enough that nobody would think to look for Britt until it was too late, and she needed to test her shot first. Britt has no idea any of this is coming, and neither does Valentin, who spent that entire scene reassuring Anna she was finally healing.

Anna Has Been Hearing Voices for Weeks
General Hospital Spoilers have quietly been building this since August, and nobody noticed. Anna Devane has been hearing voices for weeks, and everyone around her has been too relieved by her calm moments to notice the pattern. On August 18, right after she confided in Sonny that coming home “still isn’t completely over” for her, Peter appeared and told her, “You don’t need a shrink, you have me.” Two days later, she had a full panic attack in an elevator with Valentin, admitting she’d flashed back to being held at Wyndemere, certain Faison was coming for her, even though she knows he’s dead. She refused therapy and insisted she needed to “avoid triggers.”
By August 24, she was going into full spells, hearing herself in her own head screaming that she had to stop Faison. The next day, Peter’s specter escalated from vague menace to a direct order: kill Britt. Every single time, Anna has pulled herself together within minutes and convinced the people around her she’s fine. That is not recovery, that is practice.
The Voice Telling Her to Kill Britt Has a Name
The voice telling Anna Devane to kill Britt Westbourne is not some anonymous hallucination, it belongs to her own nephew. Peter August is Cesar Faison’s son, confirmed by Britt’s own words calling Peter her half-brother, which makes Britt and Peter siblings through their shared father. Anna is Peter’s aunt through her twin sister, which means the specter ordering her to murder Britt is family ordering her to kill family, on behalf of the monster who tortured her for years.
That reframes everything about the trap Anna set. She isn’t hearing a stranger’s voice telling her to hurt someone random, she’s hearing her own bloodline’s darkest branch demand she eliminate Faison’s other child, the one still walking around Port Charles as a living reminder of everything he did to her. Britt walking into that meeting thinking she’s getting intel on her brother has no idea she may actually be walking toward the barrel of a gun aimed by her own half-brother’s aunt.
A Perfect Shot Is Not a Coincidence
A near-perfect shot at a paper target is not a hobby when it shows up in the same beat as a fake pretext to get someone alone. Anna Devane has spent two straight weeks failing to stay ahead of Peter’s voice, and now she has a plan, a meeting location, and a target who trusts her. And soap circles have already started speculating about how this confrontation plays out. If Britt Westbourne walks into that meeting unaware of any of this, General Hospital may be building toward the moment Faison finally gets what he wanted from beyond the grave.

Faison Never Really Left Port Charles
We are not ready to call this paranoia, not when a WSB-trained agent with a perfect aim lured her own target into a private meeting. Anna Devane thinks she’s protecting herself and everyone she loves, but if Peter’s voice wins, she is about to become exactly what Faison always wanted her to be.
