General Hospital Spoilers: Ava Jerome Warns Drew Cain He Goes Down Too if Jack Brennan’s Death Unravels
General Hospital spoilers Ava Jerome: Ava warns Drew Cain that if she goes down for Jack Brennan’s death, he goes too. The pact is cracking.
AVA JEROME CHAINS HER FATE TO DREW CAIN’S
TL;DR: Ava tells Drew on Thursday, September 3 that if she goes down for Jack Brennan’s death, he goes too. She said a version of it Tuesday. What changed since is everything neither of them knows about that grave.
Ava Puts Drew on Notice Before the Dirt Even Settles
General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, September 3 have Ava Jerome reminding Drew Cain that if she goes down for Jack Brennan‘s death, he is going down right beside her. It is not a bluff. It is bookkeeping. They put a body in the ground Wednesday, and by Thursday one of them is reading the other the terms.
Here is what has actually aired. On August 28, Ava crushed a sleeping pill Drew handed her into Brennan’s drink so Drew could blind the Metro Court cameras and search the WSB chief’s suite for the campaign-money file that could bury him. On September 1, Brennan was found dead in the hotel pool. Ava and Drew wheeled him out in a laundry cart, and Ava told Drew flat out she was not going down for this by herself.
Wednesday’s episode took them to the nature preserve beside the Quartermaine estate, and they covered him over. Nobody on screen has said what happened to Brennan between the drink and the water. That gap matters, because circulating spoiler chatter keeps calling this a murder, and the show has not. Ava drugged him. Something or someone finished it, and those are two very different charges.

The Ledger Says Neither of Them Walks
Read the ledger the way a prosecutor would. Ava poured the drink and was seen with Brennan shortly before he died. Drew supplied the pill, brought in the device that blinded the hotel, and chose the burial ground. Each of them holds the one piece the other cannot explain away.
That is why the way Drew recruited Ava in August matters so much now. He picked a partner with a rap sheet, and a partner with a rap sheet knows exactly how a plea deal works. Ava Jerome is not threatening Drew because she is scared. She is threatening him because she has done the math.
If I know these writers, the threat is the tell. This is a woman who let another man take the blame for a murder she committed in 2013 and who walked out of a manslaughter trial not guilty in December 2024. When Ava Jerome is cornered, she does not go quiet. She finds the nearest exit and makes sure somebody else is standing in the doorway.

Will Ava Jerome Turn on Drew Cain on General Hospital?
Not on Thursday, and she may not have to. Here is the part getting lost in the noise: Ava delivered a version of the you-go-down-too line on Tuesday, so Thursday is a restatement, not a reveal. What changed in the 48 hours between them is everything neither partner knows.
Charlotte Cassadine‘s initialed bracelet went into that grave snagged on Brennan’s body. A dog was pawing at the fresh dirt on Wednesday before Charlotte pulled him off. And Danny Morgan, who found the body in the pool with Charlotte, is scheduled to blurt out startling news to his father, Jason Morgan, on Thursday. The spoiler does not name the news. My gut says it is the pool, because Jason’s shock is on the schedule.
The pact Ava is threatening to break may already be broken from the outside. Add Josslyn Jacks, who reported Brennan missing on Wednesday and sits down Thursday with William Baines, a WSB official played by Alimi Ballard, to explain why the evidence points to foul play. Meanwhile Valentin Cassadine will suggest to Carly Spencer that Brennan staged his own disappearance. The audience knows exactly where he is, which makes an investigation chasing a faked exit the show’s cruelest joke this week.

Drew’s Payback Move Is the Real Wild Card
Thursday also has Drew turning to payback, with the target not named on screen. Reading between the lines, the loudest guess in circulation is Nina Reeves, who publicly promised to destroy Brennan on August 26 in front of witnesses that included Carly and Drew. A dead man plus a woman on record threatening him is a frame that builds itself. Don’t be surprised if Drew reaches for it.
Here is the catch. Every move Drew makes without clearing it with Ava Jerome is a move she can hold against him later, and she has already told him she is keeping score. A frame on Nina adds a third person with every reason to dig, and Nina never stays quiet when accused. Drew’s revenge could be the thing that turns Ava’s threat from insurance into a plan.

The Partner Who Talks First Wins, and Ava Knows It
Drew built this plan like a man who has never been arrested. Ava executed it like a woman who has been arrested plenty. That gap is the whole story. He thinks the preserve solved a problem; she knows a body is only postponed, and she is making sure the postponement carries his name.
Our money is on Ava making the first call to a lawyer, and Drew hearing about it from someone in a WSB windbreaker. Tell us where yours is on our Facebook page.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Did Ava Jerome kill Jack Brennan on General Hospital?
Not as confirmed on screen. Ava spiked Brennan’s drink on August 28 with a sleeping pill Drew supplied, and Brennan turned up dead in the Metro Court pool on September 1. Nobody on screen has established what happened between the drink and the water, and the show has not named a killer.
Where did Ava and Drew bury Jack Brennan’s body?
In the nature preserve beside the Quartermaine estate, on land that used to belong to the Quartermaines. They buried him on the September 2 episode, and a dog was already pawing at the fresh dirt before Charlotte Cassadine pulled him away. Charlotte’s initialed bracelet went into that grave on the body.
Who is William Baines on General Hospital?
William Baines is a new WSB official played by Alimi Ballard, debuting Thursday, September 3. Josslyn Jacks meets him after reporting Brennan missing and lays out why the evidence points to foul play. The show has released no further details on the character, so anything beyond that is guesswork.
