JOSSLYN JACKS IS STANDING OVER ROSS CULLUM’S BED AND HE IS AWAKE

TL;DR: Britt Westbourne had a syringe ready to inject into Ross Cullum’s IV on General Hospital. Lulu Spencer walked in and stopped it. Josslyn Jacks had already offered to assassinate Cullum herself and called it the greater good. While Britt dealt with Lulu, Josslyn crept into the room. She was standing over his bed when Ross Cullum opened his eyes. He is awake. She is right there. And Port Charles will never be the same.

Josslyn Offered to Kill Him and She Was Not Kidding

Josslyn Jacks put every piece together. She figured out that Ross Cullum was the one who killed Marco Rios. She told Britt Westbourne that Cullum was lying unconscious in the ICU and Britt had access as a doctor. She suggested Britt use it.

When Britt hesitated, Josslyn Jacks did not back down. She offered to do it herself. She told Britt that she had been trained to identify when an agent had to take action for the greater good and this was one of those moments.

That is Carly Spencer‘s daughter. That is a woman who learned strategy from her mother and espionage from the WSB. And she stood in that room and volunteered to assassinate a man in a hospital bed and framed it as duty. This is the darkest Josslyn Jacks has ever gone, and she went there without flinching.

Britt told her no. Britt said she would handle it herself. Marco lost his life getting her medication. Jason Morgan is in WSB custody because of Cullum. Britt decided this was her responsibility.

Britt Had the Syringe and Lulu Walked In

Britt went into Cullum’s ICU room. She had a syringe. She was standing next to his IV. She was about to inject whatever was in that needle into his line and end Ross Cullum permanently.

And then Lulu Spencer walked in.

Lulu, who is secretly terrified about Rocco‘s involvement in the shooting, came to the hospital claiming she was working on a story for the Port Charles Press about the incident at Pier 55. She walked into the ICU room of the man her son shot and interrupted the woman who was about to finish what Rocco started.

Britt capped the syringe. She blasted Lulu for walking into an ICU patient’s room. She walked Lulu out to the hub and tried to get rid of her. Lulu asked for a statement. Britt changed her mind about giving one. Lulu asked for an update on Cullum’s condition. Britt said it was hard to say if he would pull through.

Neither woman knew what was happening behind them.

Josslyn Did Not Wait

While Britt and Lulu talked at the hub, Josslyn Jacks crept into Ross Cullum’s room. She had been hovering nearby. She saw her opening and she took it. She walked in and stood next to his bed, trying to determine if Britt had already injected the IV before Lulu interrupted.

She was standing right there. Looking down at the man who stabbed Marco. The man who crushed Britt’s medication under his shoe. The man who tried to shoot Britt on that pier. The man who sent a WSB warrant to arrest Jason at his son’s basketball game. The man who is connected to Faison’s final project, who carries Faison’s novel in his jacket, who smokes Faison’s cigarillos.

Josslyn Jacks was standing over Ross Cullum’s bed.

And Ross Cullum opened his eyes.

What Happens in That Room Changes Everything

He is awake. She is right there. A WSB agent standing over the bed of her unconscious director who she may or may not have been planning to kill.

Does Cullum recognize Josslyn? Does he know she is WSB? Jack Brennan recruited her. Cullum has been suspicious of Brennan for weeks. He accused Brennan of protecting Jason and Britt out of loyalty to Carly. If Cullum puts together that Carly’s daughter is a WSB agent standing over his bed, the cover is blown for Josslyn, for Brennan, and for every person connected to this operation.

Does Josslyn finish the job? She offered to do it minutes ago. She has the training. Britt’s syringe may still be somewhere in that room. But killing a man who is looking you in the eyes is a very different thing than killing an unconscious patient, and Josslyn Jacks is about to find out if she is the agent she thinks she is or if this is the moment that breaks her.

What if Cullum speaks first? What if the first words out of his mouth are something Josslyn is not prepared to hear? What if he knows exactly who shot him and it was never Jason Morgan?

Britt is at the hub. Lulu is asking questions. And Josslyn Jacks is alone in a room with a man who just woke up and has every reason to destroy her. This is the most dangerous sixty seconds of her life.

Do you think Josslyn finishes what Britt started, or does Cullum waking up change everything? And what happens if he knows the truth about who really shot him? Sound off below because this cliffhanger has us screaming!
