WHAT IF LUCAS JONES IS BECOMING JENZ SIDWELL’S NEW ALLY AND GRIEF IS THE DOOR

TL;DR: Lucas Jones lied to Dante Falconeri to protect Jenz Sidwell’s family on General Hospital. Sidwell hugged Lucas at the PCPD and told him Wyndemere would always be his home. They are both grieving Marco Rios. Neither one of them knows Ross Cullum is the man who killed him. What if shared grief is pulling Lucas into Sidwell’s orbit and by the time Port Charles figures out what is happening, Lucas Jones is already on the wrong side of everything?!

Lucas Already Chose Sidwell and He Does Not Even Know It Yet

Lucas Jones told Ava Jerome he was going to the PCPD to point the finger at Jenz Sidwell. He walked into Dante Falconeri‘s interrogation room and did the opposite. He said Marco Rios never talked about his father’s business. He said Marco would never be involved in something illegal. He told Dante there was no residual anger between Marco and Sonny Corinthos.

Lucas Jones walked into that room with the truth and walked out with a lie.

And then Sidwell found him in the hallway. Sidwell pulled Lucas in for a hug. He thanked him for loving Marco. And he said the words that should terrify every person who cares about Lucas Jones: “Wyndemere will always be your home.”

That is not a condolence. That is an invitation.

Grief Is the Most Dangerous Recruiter in Port Charles

Here is what makes this speculation genuinely chilling. Sidwell did not have to manipulate Lucas. He did not have to threaten him or blackmail him or offer him money. All Sidwell had to do was grieve.

Lucas Jones lost the man he loved. Jenz Sidwell lost his son. They are both standing in the wreckage of Marco Rios’ death, looking at each other through the same tears, bonded by the same loss. And that bond is doing what no scheme, no threat, and no offer of power could ever do. It is pulling Lucas toward Sidwell voluntarily.

Sidwell did not recruit Lucas. Grief did.

And the most terrifying part? Lucas does not see it happening. He is not consciously choosing a side. He is a man drowning in loss who reached out and grabbed the nearest hand, and that hand belongs to the most dangerous man in Port Charles.

Lucas Does Not Know Cullum Killed Marco

Here is where this gets devastating.

Ross Cullum stabbed Marco Rios in the chest. He cleaned the knife. He read Marco’s phone. He stepped over his body and turned off the lights on his way out. And Lucas Jones does not know any of that.

Lucas saved Cullum’s life on the operating table. He removed the bullet and stabilized the man who murdered his boyfriend, and he still does not have that information. Britt Westbourne and Josslyn Jacks figured it out. Lucas has not.

What happens when he finds out? What happens when Lucas Jones, who is already sliding into Sidwell’s orbit, discovers that Cullum, Sidwell’s own partner, is the one who killed Marco? Does he turn on Sidwell? Or is he already so deep inside that world that turning back is no longer an option?

What if the truth about Cullum is the thing that cements Lucas on Sidwell’s side instead of pulling him away? What if Lucas and Sidwell channel their shared rage toward the man who took Marco from both of them and become something Port Charles has never seen before: a grieving father and a grieving lover with an empire behind them and a common enemy in front of them?

What If Sidwell Sees a Version of Marco in Lucas?

This is the speculation that keeps us up at night.

Marco chose Lucas over his father. He chose love over the empire. He walked away from Sidwell’s world because Lucas made him want something better. Sidwell knows that. Sidwell watched his son fall in love and pull away from the family business because of the man standing in front of him right now.

What if Sidwell looks at Lucas Jones and sees the last living connection to Marco? What if Lucas becomes the surrogate for the son Sidwell lost? What if Wyndemere stops being a place Lucas visits and starts being a place Lucas lives?

What if Lucas Jones, the nephew of Bobbie Spencer, the cousin of Carly Spencer, the doctor who saved Cullum’s life, ends up standing next to Jenz Sidwell as his most trusted ally? Not through force. Not through manipulation. Through grief. Through love. Through the memory of a man they both lost and cannot let go of.

Port Charles has seen people turn to the dark side before. But Lucas Jones being pulled into Sidwell’s world through the genuine bond of losing Marco Rios is the quietest, most devastating turn General Hospital could make. And nobody around Lucas, not Carly, not Ava, not Britt, is paying close enough attention to stop it.

Do you think Lucas Jones ends up on Sidwell’s side? And when he finds out Cullum killed Marco, does it pull him out or push him deeper? Sound off below because this one is terrifying!
