Amber and Deke Have Unfinished Business
For those who need a refresher, Amber Moore’s history with Deke Sharpe is one of the most heartbreaking storylines The Bold and the Beautiful has ever told. Amber raised Deke as her own son after her biological child was stillborn and her mother Tawny swapped in Becky Moore’s baby. She loved that little boy with everything she had, fought for him repeatedly, and lost him over and over again.
When Becky died, she left a video message begging Amber and C.J. to raise her son together. Amber tried. She really tried. But then Deacon Sharpe entered the picture, took custody, and Amber’s world fell apart. She even had a breakdown and ran off to Furnace Creek with Little Eric before Deacon convinced her to return him. The last time we heard about Deke, Deacon mentioned he was staying with his grandparents, Joe and Tilly Moore.
Now Deke is back in Los Angeles, all grown up at 26 years old, working as a fashion designer for Hope For The Future at Forrester Creations. And Amber is… nowhere. But what if she came back?

The Current Mess Is Missing Something
Let’s look at what’s happening right now in Deacon Sharpe’s orbit. He’s married to Sheila Carter — a literal psychopath — but he’s falling for Taylor Hayes and they’re about to kiss this week. Sheila keeps gushing about how “blessed” she is while Deacon is busy locking lips with her therapist. Hope and Steffy are fighting about whether Taylor and Deacon should be together. It’s messy, it’s complicated, and it’s missing one key ingredient: Amber Moore.
Imagine Amber walking into Il Giardino and seeing her former love Deacon married to SHEILA CARTER. The woman who terrorized the Forresters for decades. The woman with eight toes. Amber would lose her entire mind, and honestly? We’d be right there with her.
But more importantly, imagine Amber seeing Deke again. The little boy she raised, loved, and lost is now a grown man working at Forrester Creations alongside Hope — Deke’s half-sister, whom Deacon conceived with Brooke while married to Brooke’s daughter Bridget. The family tree alone would give Amber a migraine, but the emotional reunion would be absolutely devastating in the best possible way.
Amber Would Not Let Sheila Slide
Here’s the thing about Amber Moore: she’s a fighter. She’s been through hell and back multiple times, and she doesn’t take nonsense from anyone. If Amber returned and saw that Deacon had married Sheila Carter, she would immediately go into protective mode — not just for Deke, but for Hope too.
Amber knows what it’s like to have her children in danger. She knows what it’s like to fight for the people she loves against impossible odds. And she would absolutely not sit back and watch Sheila Carter play happy housewife with the father of the children she helped raise.
Plus, can you imagine Amber and Taylor bonding over their mutual disgust for Sheila? Amber could be the push Taylor needs to actually pursue Deacon without guilt. Or Amber could complicate things further by still having feelings for Deacon herself. Either way, her return would throw gasoline on an already burning fire, and we are HERE for it.
