Here are four stories he could crash, ranked, plus the Emmy date that makes his absence even stranger.
Liam Has Been Off Screen Since the Logan Runway
Where is Liam on Bold and the Beautiful? The honest answer is nowhere we can find. Liam Spencer was last seen in a confirmed scene in July, kneeling on the Logan showroom runway beside his wife, Hope Logan Spencer, after she collapsed following the fight with her mother. He begged her to get checked for a concussion and told her, “You shine bright like a diamond.” Then he vanished.
Since then, Liam has been a name, not a face. On Friday, October 16, he came up only in passing, when Hope’s mother griped that Katie Logan Spencer moved Liam, Hope and their daughter into the Spencer Estate. Nothing in the network previews through October 23 puts him in a room, and you can check every day for yourself in our two-week Bold and the Beautiful spoilers. Meanwhile the rest of the Spencers are anything but quiet, starting with Will’s big declaration for Dylan.
Here is what makes the silence strange. This is the man Bradley Bell could not bring himself to kill last year, when Liam’s “inoperable” brain tumor turned out to be a fraud. “I couldn’t do it,” Bell said at the time. Now Scott Clifton is up for Lead Actor at the Daytime Emmys on Friday, October 30, for that very story. Nobody has reported a schedule cut, a contract change or an exit, so this is a character on the bench, not a farewell.

Steffy’s Surrogacy Story Is the Fight He Was Built For
Our number one way back is the loudest story on the canvas. Steffy Forrester Finnegan is pregnant and calling it a surrogacy for Carter Walton and Daphne Rose Walton. Her husband, John “Finn” Finnegan, learns on Monday, October 19, that she went ahead against his wishes, and by Friday he and his adoptive mother are digging into Steffy’s pregnancy. Liam has no idea about any of it. Not one scene has told him.
He has every reason to care. Liam is the father of Steffy’s daughter, Kelly Spencer, and a new baby lands in Kelly’s home whether the grownups explain it or not. He has also sweated out a paternity question with Steffy before, years ago, and it ended with Finn as the father. If Liam Spencer heard the word “surrogate” and started counting weeks, would he go to Finn first, or straight to Steffy? My gut says Steffy, and my gut says she would hate every second of it.
Where Is Liam Spencer on Bold and the Beautiful?
He is off screen, and the show hasn’t said why. His last confirmed scene is the July runway rescue, and nobody reports him leaving. Here is the part nobody else has put together: the man the show refused to kill is a Lead Actor nominee on October 30, and he is sitting out the exact month when all three stories tied to him by blood or by a child explode at once. Our read is that Liam is parked, not gone, and the smartest place to un-park him is the story with a baby in it.
Will and Dylan Hand Him a Brother to Back or Defy
Way number two lives at the beach house. Will Spencer and Melissa Dylan traded “I love you” on October 14, and his mother, Katie, can barely stand it. Liam has his own reasons to have feelings about Dylan. Luna was struck by a car Dylan was driving and declared dead last November, and Liam and Luna had a violent history of their own. Does the big brother stand with Will, or quietly side with Katie?
Zende at Logan and Wyatt’s New Romance Round Out the List
Number three is the easy one. Zende Forrester Dominguez walked out of Forrester with Dylan and joined Logan on October 14, where Hope is the creative force. Liam is at Logan too, so a supportive husband in the war room would cost the writers nothing. It is also the least exciting option, which is why it sits third.
Number four is a maybe stacked on a maybe. Wyatt Spencer has become Katie’s sounding board at Logan, which has us eyeing Katie and Wyatt’s tangled history all over again. Circulating spoiler chatter also has him meeting a new woman the week of October 26, possibly Dylan’s mother, Darcy Dylan. Nothing official backs that yet, and Wyatt’s run is a short one. Liam Spencer catching his brother’s new crush first would be fun, but it is a side dish, not the main course.
