HOPE LOGAN’S GUILT OVER BROOKE TESTS HER LOYALTY TO KATIE AND LOGAN

TL;DR: Spoilers say Hope wrestles with guilt over the growing distance from her mother on Monday, November 2, the same day Brooke scrambles to make peace with Katie. Is it the first crack in Hope’s Logan loyalty, and what would it take to send her home?

Hope’s Guilt Lands the Same Day Brooke Chases Peace With Katie

The newest Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Monday, November 2, finally make Hope Logan sit with the thing she has dodged since June. Spoilers say Hope wrestles with guilt over the growing distance between herself and her mother, Brooke Logan.

The timing is brutal. That same Monday, Brooke and Bill Spencer scramble to make things right with Katie Logan Spencer, the aunt Hope works for. Hope has been off screen since she balked at Katie’s “Forrester Cretins” headlines on October 27, and a lot of glass has broken since.

So is this the first crack in Hope’s loyalty to Logan, or just a daughter who misses her mom? Here’s the straight answer first. No spoiler through November 6 has Hope leaving Logan or going home to Forrester. The guilt is real. The exit is still a question.

Should Hope call her mother before Katie’s war gets any uglier? Write to me at amber@soapoperamagazine.com and tell me why.

Hope Sent Her Mother’s Call to Voicemail

This distance did not grow by accident. On September 29, with Ridge nudging her, Brooke picked up the phone and called her daughter. Hope let it go to voicemail. “I miss my daughter very much,” Brooke said into the void.

Two days later Hope admitted to Katie, “I miss her too.” Katie answered with the story of Brooke turning her away at Eric’s house in July. Then on October 14, Brooke stormed into Logan over Zende Forrester Dominguez, cried “It’s revenge!” and grumbled that Hope hadn’t helped.

Here’s the tell. On October 28, when Brooke mentioned an inside source, Eric Forrester assumed it was Hope. It was Bill. Forrester still half expects her to walk back through the door.

Spoiler chatter says mother and daughter aren’t even in contact now, and that Hope wants Brooke to be proud of her. Brooke thinks Katie stole her daughter to make a point. Hope doesn’t see it that way.

Will Hope Go Back to Forrester on Bold and the Beautiful?

Not on anything we can find. The previews for the week of November 2 give Hope one beat, the guilt, and there is no exit or contract news for Annika Noelle. Hope Logan is still the creative director at Katie’s company.

Forrester isn’t exactly a soft place to land, either, because on Friday Ridge Forrester fumed that they’re behind the eight ball and need a miracle. Brooke muttered, “Or a miracle worker.” That is how far Forrester’s trouble has spread since Zende walked out. And remember, Forrester cancelled Hope for the Future back in July, the line with her name stitched on it.

Our Readers Are Split Right Down Hope’s Middle

Hope’s guilt is the same fight our own readers are having. One reader on our Facebook page argued Hope is “finally getting to do the work” Steffy and Ridge wouldn’t let her do at Forrester. Another fired back that Hope “was being used from the beginning against her own mother.” Both can be true. That’s the trap Hope is standing in.

Three Things That Could Send Hope Home

Brooke saying she’s proud. That’s the line Hope seems to want most, and Brooke has never given it about Logan. If she ever does, guilt turns into a phone call Hope actually answers.

Forrester making real room. A miracle worker needs a job worth coming back to, and Hope’s last Forrester line got the axe. Ridge would have to offer more than an apology.

Katie turning the war on Hope’s mother for good. Katie told Brooke, “And you are evil,” on Friday, right after Katie hurled champagne through a Forrester window. If that fury lands on Brooke’s marriage, Hope Logan can’t stay neutral in the office next door. On Tuesday, spoilers say Donna Logan steps in to referee her sisters. Don’t be surprised if somebody thinks to call Hope.

Is Hope’s guilt the start of a homecoming, or just a bad Monday? Tell us in the comments below the article.

Hope’s Guilt Is Brooke’s Best Shot at Winning Her Daughter Back

Our take: guilt is a crack in Hope’s peace with her mother, not yet in her Logan paycheck. My gut tells me Hope Logan stays put this week. But on this show, guilt is how every homecoming starts, and Brooke just muttered that Forrester needs a miracle worker.
