Steffy Forrester is about to walk into the design office on Monday and tell Hope Logan to shove Hope for the Future to the back burner so couture can take center stage. Hope is going to sit there, smile politely, and start mentally packing her office.

She does not need to stay. Her husband runs the Logan website. Her father in law is Bill Spencer. Her aunt Katie just launched the Logan Collection with Eric Forrester‘s designs to a roaring livestream and now has a brand new problem. Katie has one collection and no second line, and she is going to bring that up over dinner this week with Hope, Liam Spencer, and Bill sitting right there.

That is not a coincidence. That is a door swinging open.

Hope has been kicked around at Forrester for years. Steffy fires her, rehires her, sidelines her, platforms her, sidelines her again. She has finally done the math.

Hope walks out of Forrester with every Hope for the Future design file, every fabric sample, every mood board, every sketch Thomas Forrester ever drew for that line. She does not slam a door. She drops her key card on the desk and drives to the Logan showroom.

Katie is stunned for eleven seconds. Then she is delighted. Bill is already writing the press release. By the end of the week, Hope for the Future is Logan’s second line, scheduled for a runway show that will make Katie’s livestream look like a warm up act.

The only problem is the designs need a designer, and Hope cannot suddenly draw. She needs a name whose signature on couture would make Paris and Milan pay attention. There is exactly one designer on the Forrester payroll who has been quietly, pathetically, catastrophically obsessed with Hope Logan for more than a decade. And he is about to get a phone call.

The Thomas backstory on this woman is a paperback novel. He tried to marry her in Cabo when she was still in love with Liam. He hid the truth that her daughter Beth was alive for weeks while Hope grieved a baby she had not lost. He orchestrated the car accident that killed Emma Barber so the Beth secret stayed buried. He built a Hope mannequin and had conversations with it when she rejected him. He finally got his moment at the Colosseum in Rome, spent a summer in her bed, then dumped her for Paris Buckingham.

Hope has spent years being the target of his obsession. She is about to flip the board.

She calls Thomas. She tells him she is starting something at Logan. She tells him Ridge has never let him design on his own terms and never will. She tells him Logan will let him sign his own work. She lets her voice do that thing it does when she wants a man to follow her out of a building. Thomas is going to do her bidding.

Ridge and Brooke Watch the Forrester Name Walk Out the Door

The diabolical part is not that Hope poaches a line. Lines get poached. The diabolical part is that Hope poaches a Forrester. Ridge’s son. Brooke’s step grandson. Eric’s grandson. The next generation of the family name, walking into Katie’s showroom with a sketchpad and a contract.

Ridge loses his mind. Brooke loses her voice. Eric loses whatever is left of his dignity. Taylor Hayes walks in to find out her son has defected and has to decide whether to support him or disown him.

And Hope stands next to Katie, Bill, and Liam at the next Logan runway show, watching Thomas’s couture roll down the catwalk with her name on the line, her aunt’s name on the company, and the entire Forrester family watching from the audience like they were invited to their own funeral.
