TROUBLE IN PARADISE! Is B&B’s Katie Logan Watching Bill Spencer Go Soft On Her Own Sister?

TL;DR: On Bold and the Beautiful, Katie Logan watched Bill Spencer visit Brooke’s house and come back begging her to go easy on Forrester, and she suspects the only thing he is softening toward is her sister.

Bill Spencer Left Brooke’s House A Brand New Man

Bill Spencer spent this entire war as the loudest cheerleader in Katie Logan’s corner, so nobody saw it coming when he walked out of Brooke Logan’s house with a brand new philosophy. He told Brooke himself that he had made a big investment in Logan and urged his wife to fight. Then he asked why on earth he would tell Katie to take her foot off the gas when he had coached her to do the exact opposite, and he agreed with Brooke anyway.

Brooke, to her credit, knows exactly which buttons to push. She called Katie vindictive, brought up the darkness in her little sister, and flashed back to Aspen, where Bill once played her stallion, sound effects included. Then she touched his arm, and Bill murmured, “Of course. Good to see you, Brooke.” That is the sound of a man who walked in with a spine and forgot where he left it.

Katie caught the change on contact. When Bill suggested they play gracious toward Forrester while announcing Zende Forrester Dominguez’s arrival, she laughed and asked if her husband was in there. The next conversation was the same song with a longer verse, and this time he wanted her to take the high road instead of destroying anybody.

Katie Logan Has Seen This Movie Before

Katie is not being paranoid, she is keeping receipts. Bill has always taken pleasure in watching the dressmaker squirm, and now he calls going after a weakened enemy a waste of resources. She reminded him how the Forresters treated Eric Forrester, Zende, and Hope Logan, and he admitted he would be thrilled if she buried Forrester but was not sure it was necessary.

Then she played her best card: he is the one who has been pushing her to fight her sister. This is also the man who told Wyatt Spencer and Shauna Fulton he expected Brooke to cool her egomaniacal jets. Funny how those jets stay cool the moment Brooke is close enough to touch his arm.

History is on Katie’s side, too. She told Wyatt she wants Forrester left with nothing, the way she was left with nothing when Brooke stole her husband, and that husband was Bill. Every time he and Brooke get cozy, the Bill and Katie love story is the thing that pays the tab.

Bill Isn’t Softening For The Forresters, He’s Softening For Brooke

Brooke admitted to Donna Logan that she went to Bill for help, insisted she appealed to him as a friend, and swore nobody knows him better. Donna reminded her that this toxic relationship broke Katie’s heart and that Ridge Forresterhates the guy. In other words, even the people in Brooke’s corner can see she reached for her ex to use as armor.

Is it possible Bill truly believes this is about saving the sisters? He did tell Wyatt it would kill Katie to lose Brooke for good, so maybe the soft spot is wearing a halo. But Katie Logan asked where this bizarre change of heart came from, and so far he has not given her a better answer than “Brooke was right.” With Friday’s preview teasing that Katie’s intensity about Brooke continues, her husband’s explanation had better improve fast.
