Wednesday’s Bold and the Beautiful ended with Luna Nozawa running straight into an oncoming car with horn blasting and crashing sounds. But here’s the question that’s going to define the next few weeks: WHO was behind that wheel?
Was it Taylor Hayes finally snapping? We KNOW Taylor was out there in the fog screaming she’d find Luna “one way or another.” What if Taylor saw Luna in her headlights and made a split-second decision to just… not hit the brakes? Accidentally-on-purpose hitting Luna with her car would be the darkest thing B&B has done with Taylor’s character.
Was it Sheila Carter “solving problems” the only way Sheila knows how? Sheila was out there calling herself Luna’s “grandma” trying to get Luna to come to her. What if Sheila decided Luna would be better off dead than going back to prison? Maybe in Sheila’s twisted mind, she’s doing Luna a FAVOR by ending her suffering permanently.
Or here’s the most TWISTED possibility: what if Luna threw herself in front of that car ON PURPOSE? Luna told Will Spencer “I might as well be dead” right before she escaped. She just had a miscarriage alone in prison. She ran to the beach house thinking she could win Will back, and he looked at her with pure DISGUST. What if Luna saw those headlights and made a CHOICE?

Will Spencer Is About To Spiral Into Guilt He Doesn’t Deserve
Here’s what’s going to make this storyline absolutely INFURIATING: whether Luna Nozawa survives or dies, Will Spencer is going to blame himself. And that’s WRONG on every level.
The recap showed Will already “confused by his sadness” about Luna’s miscarriage. Confused?! Luna RAPED him. Luna drugged him and took advantage of him while he was unconscious. Luna murdered two people. And Will is “confused” about feeling sad that her baby died?
That’s already too much sympathy for someone who violated him. But now add a car crash to the mix? Will is going to spiral HARD into guilt about rejecting Luna right before she got hit. He’s going to convince himself that if he’d just been nicer to her, maybe Luna wouldn’t have run into traffic.
Katie Logan and Bill Spencer are going to watch their son torture himself with guilt over a woman who RAPED him, and there’s nothing they can do to stop it. Bold and the Beautiful is setting up the most psychologically damaging storyline for Will.
If Luna Nozawa Survives This Gets Even WORSE
If Luna Nozawa survives this car crash, B&B is absolutely setting up a coma storyline. Luna will be in the hospital unconscious, and Will Spencer will feel OBLIGATED to do bedside vigils. He’ll sit there holding her hand, talking to her, begging her to wake up, blaming himself for everything.
The show will frame this as Will being “compassionate” when really it’s just trauma response. Will is a rape victim dealing with complicated feelings about his rapist, and Bold and the Beautiful is about to exploit that for DRAMA.
Electra Forrester is going to have to watch her boyfriend spiral into guilt over another woman. She’ll try to remind Will that Luna did terrible things to him, but Will won’t hear it. If Luna wakes up from the coma with amnesia or permanent injuries, Will will feel EVEN MORE guilty. The guilt manipulation possibilities are endless.
If Luna Nozawa Dies The Guilt Becomes Permanent
If Luna Nozawa DIES from this car crash, Will Spencer’s guilt will haunt him forever. He’ll never get closure. He’ll just have to live with the fact that his last interaction with her was telling her he wanted nothing to do with her, and then she died.
Bold and the Beautiful will milk this for everything it’s worth. Will will have nightmares. He’ll withdraw from Electra. He’ll question every decision he made. And here’s what makes this ENRAGING: Luna didn’t deserve kindness in that moment! She escaped prison and showed up at Will’s house uninvited trying to manipulate him AGAIN. Will had every right to reject her harshly.
But the show is setting it up so Will will blame himself anyway. Katie and Bill will try to remind Will that Luna made her own choices, but Will won’t believe them. He’ll carry this guilt for YEARS.
