The Bold and the Beautiful
Will He Choose His Wife Or His Daughter? B&B’s Ridge Forrester Can’t Pick Between Brooke Logan and Steffy Forrester But Someone Will Emerge Victorious!
Brooke Logan asked Ridge Forrester for Steffy Forrester’s chair in a negligee. He has to choose. Forty years of pattern says he picks Brooke.

RIDGE FORRESTER WILL CHOOSE BROOKE AND STEFFY LOSES THE CHAIR
TL;DR: Brooke Logan asked Ridge Forrester for Steffy Forrester’s Co-CEO chair in a negligee on The Bold and the Beautiful. He has to pick between his wife and his daughter. And forty years of pattern on B&B says we already know which woman Ridge betrays when the dust settles.
Let Us Start With the Negligee
Brooke Logan walked into her own living room on Friday in a negligee with a glass of wine and asked her husband to remove his daughter as Co-CEO of Forrester Creations. She did not phrase it as a request. She phrased it as destiny. She told him they could carry on his parents’ legacy and become the new era of Forrester Creations. And then she kissed him and told him to give her what she wants.
Ridge Forrester drank a beer. He cleared his throat. He said his daughter was always going to be his daughter. And he did not say no.
He never says no to Brooke in a negligee. He has not said no to Brooke in a negligee in forty years. We do not need a crystal ball for what happens next. We need a recap binge.

Forty Years of Receipts
Let us walk through the receipts because the receipts are the entire argument.
Ridge picked Brooke over Taylor Hayes multiple times, including the period when Taylor was raising his children. He picked Brooke over Stephanie, the woman who literally birthed him, every single time Stephanie tried to expose Brooke for what Brooke was actually doing. He picked Brooke over Thomas Forrester‘s mental health. He picked Brooke over Eric Forrester in the design studio. He picked Brooke over the boardroom. He picked Brooke over his own marriage vows.
The man’s entire personality is “I will defend Brooke Logan against any objection brought by a member of my own family.”
And now his wife is asking him to demote his daughter from Co-CEO of the company his daughter has been running for years. And his wife is making the ask from her own bedroom in a negligee with a glass of wine in her hand. There is no version of this story where Ridge Forrester says no.
Why Steffy Loses This Specific Battle
Steffy Forrester is Ridge’s professional life partner. She is the daughter who grew up to run his company. He has been bragging about her all week. Carter Walton called them a dream team Friday morning. Steffy is not just his daughter. She is his colleague.
And it does not matter.
Because Brooke did not ask Ridge to demote a stranger. Brooke asked Ridge to demote Steffy because of how Steffy has been treating Hope Logan. Brooke framed it as protecting Hope, protecting the Logan legacy, protecting the family. And Ridge cannot say no to Brooke when Brooke is defending one of her daughters because Ridge has been defending Brooke from the consequences of defending her daughters since 1990.
The Hope for the Future line being shelved is the trojan horse. Brooke wants the chair. Hope spent the entire week handing her the moral cover to ask for it. And the negligee made sure the conversation happened nowhere Steffy could defend herself.
The Verdict
Ridge Forrester is going to do what Ridge Forrester has always done. He is going to find a way to give Brooke what she wants and tell himself it is fair to Steffy. He is going to invent a third title. He is going to call Steffy his daughter while removing her from his Co-CEO chair. He is going to dress betrayal up in a softer voice and convince himself it counts as compromise. It does not.
Brooke is going to be Co-CEO by Friday next week. And Ridge is going to look his daughter in the eye, tell her it is the right call for the company, and walk back upstairs to a wife who is already pouring the celebratory wine. Because forty years of B&B history has been training him for exactly this moment, and B&B only writes one version of this story. Brooke wins. Everyone else cleans up. Repeat.
The only real question on the table is how long it takes Steffy to realize her father betrayed her. Our money is on Tuesday.
