A version of Sheila who finally has something to lose is scarier than the version who’s always had nothing. If Steffy’s forgiveness turns into a full-blown family war, watching how far Sheila is willing to go to protect her new place in this family could be some of the most gripping television this show has done in years.

Ridge in particular has never made peace with anything Sheila’s done to this family, and Brooke would need very little convincing to lead the charge against her. Even Hope Logan, who’s stayed mostly out of this fight, would have a hard time watching Steffy defend the woman who’s terrorized Finn’s entire life.
